Accountability - Friday (finally!)
Another day to start over..Busy as usual but at least I moved around! The weekend is HERE! Woo Hoo.
My eats for Thursday:
5:30 am 12 oz coffee with NAS Swiss Miss
6:00 am 1/4 protein waffle,1/2 small apple, 1/2 serving sf pancake syrup, some butter buds
6:30 am double espresso latte - I even showed dear hubby how to make one!
7:00 am 24 oz herb tea, Lipton Berry Vanilla (the tea bag leaked leaves all over the bottom of my mug!
8:00 am 1 oz cheddar cheese, 1 pc turkey breast deli meat
8:30 am (office meeing, alittle heated!) 24 oz drink mix with alittle ice, GV Energy Caffeinated
10:00 am 1/2 of my sandwich from last night..actually half of a 6" Black Forest Ham..with Provolone
12:00 pm Lunch out with the girls..clam chowder, chicken breast soup (mostly chicken breast) and salad greens with balsamic vinegar dressing..YUM!
1:30 pm 24 oz drink mix with ice, Hawaiian Punch Orange
2:30 pm the rest of that sandwich from last night
3:30 pm 24 oz drink mix with ice, GV Energy Strawberry Caffeinated
4:30 pm 24 oz drink mix with ice, Lipton Peach Tea
***Not included in this list are the crumbs from corn tortilla chips that I nibbled on today.**
6:00 pm 1/3 lb lean burger with processed cheese and a bit of mayo..
Totals for the day:
Calories: 1627
Fat: 69.0
Carbs: 135.5
Protein: 129.4
Not too bad. My problem carb was that sandwich. I do believe the carb count for that sandwich is a bit less with flat bread instead of the whole wheat they list on the nutritional values

Lots of running around w/ my cousin today - picking the linens & getting the table & flatware for the memorial. Just helping her check more things off the list & have less things to worry about. It felt really good to help (also felt good that my OTHER cousins werent there) & i know she appreciates it.

When we help others we're getting out of our own little circle of self absorbed and concentrating on others..It's a really good feeling to help and I'm sure your cousin really appreciates the help for sure..I bet she doesn't get along with the other cousins any better than you do!
I know, pintos and cheese just seem so ... not worth it anymore. I love me some Wendy's Chili and cheese though..and that's about the same except it's tasty. One of my favorite things is a chicken quesadilla but where I get them, I can only eat about 1/3 or half of it at a time. I LOVE avocado with it too...

Getting back on track 10yrs later after a REGAIN of approx 35lbs

For the first couple of years mybreakfast of choice was packets of Malto Meal or Cream of Wheat with chocolate protein powder added, with splenda and some soy milk..yum..and it was really filling. I also had sugar free packets of oatmeal (I think it was apple maple) with the same only vanilla protein with raisins and cinnamon..always with added protein otherwise the carb count on it made me fall flat on my face in a couple of hours..I'm not sure when I switched to the pancakes with protein powder and then on to waffles with protein but..when I tried the cream of wheat again..didn't like it.
You know what I suddenly want? a Ruben sandwich..sadly, I've already done my shopping for the weekend..I'd need the rye bread for sure..LOL..And after the week I had, I actually split a half a wine cooler with my hubby..we didn't even finish half of it but we both got a couple of sips..Not going to have a drinking problem anytime soon, I guess!
