Lots of good stuff happened today. I participated in the chili cook off and won at least runner up..the winner's chili I didn't like and there was NONE of my chili left when I got my crock pot back..not bad..and my son took his driver's test again today and PASSED..so we celebrated with subway sandwiches..a good day was had by all. My physical therapy went well today too. I can bring my arm up to 150 degrees..up from 130 but short of the 180 that is normal..I still can't reach behind my back but I am making progress!

I also was too busy to transfer my eats from my computer at work to home so no times..but here is what I ate:

Coffee with cocoa mix

waffle, apple, sf pancake syrup

double espresso latte with splenda and soy milk

24 oz herb tea

1 oz cheddar cheese, 1 pc turkey breast deli meat

24 oz drink mix water caffeinated

24 oz drink mix water non caffeinated

chili cook off: 1.5 cups chili and 2 small pieces corn bread

24 oz drink mix with water..non caffeinated

Subway sandwich: 6" black forest ham..seems they dont include the cheese in the stats on their website so I added 1 slice of provolone cheese to that

I need another container of water too..but I'm done for the most part..and really tired.

Totals for the day:
Calories: 1324
Fat: 52.7
Carbs: 129.9
Protein: 92.1

Well, the carbs were high..from the sandwich and from the chili..the beans are good carbs and the flatbread is bad carbs. Yeah, I could have done better but, really I'm not unhappy with this list..It's been a really tough week and tomorrow is FRIDAY...woo hoo.

How did you do?

THANK YOU JESUS!!!! My evil cousins DIDNT show up today. Thats wrong, they arent EVIL... Thats just a pun on the evil or wicked step sisters from Cinderella & I dont have a less harsh word for them. Truthfully - i have been really trippin off of having to interact w/ them today. I didnt know what to expect - if they would try & jump me - if there would be some harsh words out in the parking area - i just didnt know & i was really tweaked. Ive been talking to myself going over what i would say & how i would act & how RIGHT we are & have the right to feel the way we do.
Well - i think it was this morning. Either that or yesterday morning, i received the following devotional from KLOVE:
The LORD is my light and my salvation - so why should I be afraid? The Lord is my fortress, protecting me from danger, so why should I tremble?
~ Psalm 27:1, NLT

I repeated that & prayed on the way over to my cousins house today & the other ones didnt show!! PRAISE GOD (as I was literally starting to shake while waiting in her house for them to arrive - i blamed it on low caloric intake).

My Eats:
1c cream of wheat
12oz coffee
9.6 ProJoe
20oz CL

Lunch:
1 EC KFC Drum stick

Snack:
6oz FF yogurt

2nd snack:
1c chicken noodle soup
40oz CL

Dinner:
1/4c (watered down) potato & bacon soup
2tbsp peanut butter

30 SQUATS!

Those "gotcha" sorts of relatives really chap my hide..I'm so glad they gave you space today! Save your energy cuz if your relatives are like mine, they're hanging back and re-fueling..you'll need your strength for the next assault..

WOW...30 squats. that's great. I bet you're legs are shakey this morning! But whatever they complain about (your legs) it's still good for them so tell them to shut up..LOL..

Great list.

Another thing..are your cousins jealous of your weight loss? Maybe waiting for signs of failure and slippage? If they aren't seeing that, they're disappointed and that's a win for you! Woo Hoo..That would be my family again. They've been waiting to see some sort of weight gain for 5 years..none here and I know that just burns them up and I love holding that thought...ehehehehe (under my breathe!)

Keep up the good work. See ya.

I talked a few GFs on FB into joining me in the challenge as well.
I started off by doing the initial tests. I also did 40 crunches later on last night too (just to see how many i could do). But im not sure about the initial tests. Is it do so many (of whatever) in say 60 seconds or just how many you can do period or in sets (ie: i did 2 sets of 20 crunches) - ?? i cant find that info anywhere on the site. Any suggestions?

Congrats on getting friends to join you!  My little sis and her husband are my buddies in this and it helps to keep me motivated.

For the initial tests, I just did the highest number of GOOD FORM situps/squats, etc that I could do consecutively without stopping (no half squatting or lame crunches allowed!!).  The site doesnt specify a time limit, but it does want good form, so that's what I went for.

After nearly a week of doing the challenge, it seems to be on track because I'm definitely feeling it after the various sets, but its not out of reach to DO each set.
