I was up really early this morning with the cat..He's down by a half pound! Not doing well at all. So I'm trying to pet him and reassure him as much as I can but that's all I can do. I started thinking that maybe the last time he jumped up on the counter he fell down and twisted his gut..It's a thought. So I massaged his middle, which he doesn't like much. Also, I'm an accountant and I'm having trouble with my tax return. It keeps getting rejected cuz they say I haven't added up the withholding right. Seriously? Adding? sigh..But it's been a really stressful week. I'm trying to take on too much, I know it..I think I need to get out somewhere in the sunshine and walk...real soon. Maybe tomorrow I can convince the hubby to go to the park if the wind isn't blowing too bad..

My eats for Friday:

3:45 am 12 oz coffee with NSA Swiss Miss (yes, I was up at 3:30..)

4:30 am 12 oz coffee with NAS Swiss Miss

5:30 am 1/4 protein waffle, 1 small apple, 1/2 serving sf pancake syrup, some butter buds and a sprinkle of cinnamon

7:00 am 24 oz herb tea, Good Earth Cocoa Black Tea
 

8:15 am 1oz mozzarella cheese, 1 pc turkey breast deli meat
 

9:00 am 2 turkey sausages, 1 slice processed cheese food
 

10:00 am 24 oz drink mix with ice, GV Energy Strawberry Caffeinated
 

10:30 am 24 oz drink mix with the left over ice, Peach Tea (generic)
 

11:30 am 1 Jose Ole Burrito - Chicken and Cheese
 

I went shopping on my lunch and got pot pies for hubby and son. I'm still thinking about a low carb version of this for me..I've just about got it worked out in my head!
 

1:30 pm 24 oz drink mix with ice, Mio Peach
 

2:00 pm 1 hard boiled egg
 

2:30 pm 1 medium orange (or most of it..part of it was sort of bad..)
 

3:30 pm 24 oz drink mix with ice, Orange I think..and probably caffeinated..

 

5:45 pm 4 oz pork chop, 1/2 cup mashed potatoes, 4 flowerettes cooked broccoli with butter buds on the taters and broccoli
 

Later: 24 oz herb tea

Well, I can pin point where the carbs went south..that burrito..41 grams of carbs..ouch.

 

In any case, I'm stuffed at this point. I know I'll probably have some tea before bed but I have some television to watch..Who Do You Think You Are is on NBC tonight between 8-9 pm..I'm ready..

Ugh...today was a nightmare at work, even for month end.  I didnt do very well as far as protein intake, but perhaps the 'silver lining' is the lack of eating in general means my carbs were down too.

My food intake for today:

Breakfast 1 - 06:30am
1 hardboiled egg, large

Breakfast 2 - 08:30am
0.5 Noah's Bagle - Good grains
1 tbsp Noah's Sun-dried Tomato and Basil Schmear

Snack 1 - 11am
1 cheese stick

Lunch - 2pm
None  (I know, I know)

Snack 2 - 3:30pm
1 apple
2 tbsp peanut butter

Dinner - 7:30pm
0.5 Chipotle Steak Burrito

Snack 3 - 8:00pm
None

Excercise:
None


Totals for the day:
Calories: 1203
Fat: 57g
Net Carbs: 101g
Protein: 60g
Water: 6 glasses

My stress level was through the roof today.  When I'm upset or stressed out, I either overeat or stop eating altogether.  Today, I ate early, then next to nothing until late evening when I grabbed a burrito on the way home.  Thank goodness its Friday!

Me tooo..when I'm upset I tend to not eat and then reach for something on the spur of the moment..most times it's honey roasted peanuts or sugar free chocolates..nothing but carbs in those and at least too much of it makes me ill and I have to go lay down for a while..

TGIF for sure..it's been the week from hell here too.

Chill out this weekend.I'll try to too.  I'm sure hoping to get out into the sunshine but it's still cold here and not pleasant even in the sunshine..

As with anything, we do what we can and if we fall down, pick ourselves up; dust off and head out again in the right direction..

My darling hubby and I are going to go out on a date tonight, so it'll be night.
Sundays I usually do a nice dinner for the family (and my daughter is home from college this weekend, so its even better).
