Accountability - Thursday
Today was a Emergency practice run at the office..and everyone is now imploding from yesterday's deadline! I decided I needed to take a lunch today so I actually ate in the lunch room and got away from it all for a half hour. The co-worker that bugs me to death has been out all week..so I could do that. My physical therapy went alright. I know it hurts. I feel it hurts and I tell the therapist it hurts but not enough to have her stop. It's hard to deal with the stress and the pain.
My eats today:
5:00 am 12 oz coffee w/NSA Swiss Miss
5:30 am 1/4 my regular protein waffles, 1 small apple, 1/2 serving sf pancake syrup
6:00 am double espresso latte with splenda
7:00 am 24 oz herb tea, Celestial Seasons Honey Vanilla
8:15 am 1oz mozzarella cheese, 1 pc turkey breast deli meat
9:00 am 24 oz drink mix with ice, GV Energy Strawberry Caffeinated
10:15 am 2 turkey sausage links and 1 slice processed cheese
12:30 pm 1 cup cabbage, 1/2 cup cooked cabbage, 4 oz chicken breast
1:30 pm 24 oz drink mix, Hawaiian Punch Orange
3:30 pm 24 oz drink mix, I can't remember the flavor but it wasn't caffeinated
5:30 pm 1 oz honey roasted peanuts waiting for dinner.
6:30 pm 1/3 lb burger with processed cheese food, 1 sandwich thin, mayo
I know I need some more water. I'm thinking a nice warm cup of chamomile tea alittle later

Good high protein number. low enough carb number..I could use more carbs if they were good carbs..the sandwich thin is good carbs..at least not horrible carbs..My shoulder hurts but I'm under the heating pad for it.

10/18/07 RNY ( hw 305 sw 290 lw 189ish) St Joe's 08/14/14 RNY reversal to sleeve. I survived 3 leaks,4 operations and a feeding tube.

B: 1/2 cup 2% cottage cheese, 2 tbsp ground flaxseed, chopped strawberries, 14 almonds, 2 packets stevia
1/2 Starbucks iced venti sugar free vanilla 2% latte
2x 16.9oz water
L: Spinach mix with strawberries and bleu cheese crumbles, 1/4 cup corn, 1/4 cup grated carrots, 1/4 cup mixed veggies (zuchinni/cukes/tomatoes), 1/4 three beans mix, 1/3 cup grated cheese, 2 tbsp sunflower seeds, 2 tbsp ranch dressing, 1/2 cup chicken salad - I ate about 1/3 of this
24 oz diet peach snapple
D: 1/2 Quesadilla al pastor
S: 2.25 pumpkin seeds, 34 grams sugar free milk chocolate cappucino bar

So my weight is doing really good. Sticking at 197, happy with this. Being sick has helped because my appettite is GONE. so glad tommrow is Friday. Ahhh...

I'm sorry you've been sick..It seems to be going around. I have a co-worker that has been out all week and won't be back till Monday because of an upper respiratory problem, apparently...
You probably did have some pouch shrinkage with not being hungry..You did great..the list looks really good with enough good carbs. Plenty of protein..

My energy was great today. I increased my bike time by 5 minutes and will increase it again tomorrow. I'm still babying my ankle a bit, but its holding strong so far!
I've almost got my net carbs under 100. My Unjury order should be here in another day or so, which will definitely push me over the edge on protein and allow me to stop using the SlimFast shakes which are convenient, but have too many carbs.
I'm happy to report that I've lost 2.5lbs since Monday. Halfway to my first 5lb goal!

You're doing great..Remember those apples are a good carb. You had three of them so 75 carbs are apple..so don't even count those..You get so much benefit from those good carbs. That's why they say "an apple a day." it's GOOD for you..

Thursday morning, i recieved a call from one of my cousins (who never calls b/c we had a HUGE falling out in 05 & things havent been the same since. So i knew for her to call meant it wasnt good). She told me that the 2nd Auntie was also called home Wednesday night & that her sister was on her way to break the news to my dad. I really didnt appreciate that & told her that I should be telling me my dad. But apparently it was too late as she was probably already there... so what are you going to do... Im going to try & not focus on that b/c the more i think about it, the more is ****** me off...

Call your dad anyway..He's your dad and you should be there to comfort him even if you didn't break the news to him..Yeah, family will make your head spin completely around from anger because they know what buttons to push and they invariably push those buttons..but then your dad lost TWO sisters..it's really something that you should talk to him about to see how well he's handling it. If he wants to talk, you should be there to listen, at least on the phone..
I have a cousin like that. I haven't spoken to her in years. I invited her to be the maid of honor at my wedding in 1981..and she cancelled on me at about the last minute..I'm no longer angry at her but apparently I did something to anger her back then so she's still not speaking to me. She and her siblings just never have spoken to us since we've become adults..I'm not sure what the deal is...Sad really cuz we were SO close as kids.

Oh you bet your bottom dollar i took my tail over there! As soon as i was able to make arrangements at the office & pack up my gear! While it irritates me that they did that, i realize that this is not about me or them & i KNOW that the last thing we need is to lose another elder. Its like we're on family death watch...
