I woke up before the alarm, but still stayed in bed lol I could have gotten up & had time to do the elliptical but no - i passed on it. I need to get into the practice of "paying myself first" (working out in the morning b/c im too tired when i get home).
Talked to the NUT today about my allergy issue (to either soy or whey protein). She said it was OK for me to move into the "soft foods" phase, but i like & have gotten accustomed to doing the liquid thing...
I really do want to continue how I have been b/c i see me making progress. She said i could & that it was OK to try other protein powders (like egg protein).

My "eats" -
Breakfast:
1/2c cream of wheat
16oz coffee w/ sf creamer
16oz tea
8oz protein shake w/ mango juice

Snack:
6oz FF yogurt (i dont care for the safeway Lucerne brand knock off greek yogurt)
16oz tea
8oz vita water

Lunch:
4oz chicken & sausage gumbo broth
8oz chinese chicken soup broth

Snack:
8oz emergenC
9.6oz protein coffee drink
16oz CL

Dinner:
8oz butternut squash soup

You could do pretty good by adding egg protein or some other protein to your softer foods..Like in the cream of wheat..I don't use protein powders except to cook but early out I did add protein to just about everything if it was soft..protein powder in yogurt or cottage cheese..or make a smoothy..

You still did pretty darn good for Tuesday..Keep up the good work..see ya.

I got in more protein and a little less carbs.   I also increase water by 2 glasses.  I'm inching that protein and water intake up.  I'm still doing battle with those carbs...but the war isnt lost yet!

I'm 10 yrs plus out so I probably eat differently than you guys- I also work about 19 hours a day so have to eat more to maintain.

breakfast-8 am.-couple scrambled eggs with shredded cheese, piece of bacon.
snack10:30 am - cheese stick.
lunch: cheeseburger no bun, (lean gr. beef), pickle spear.
snack 3:30-4 pm- turkey deli meat wrapped around a cheese stick.
dinner: 6 pm -chicken breast w/ melted cheese and salsa, bite or two of veggies, bite of potato.
snack : 8 pm-beef jerky or cheese stick. (Start of night shift)
dinner II - 11 pm- reheated half of salmon filet from dinner yesterday.
snack: 2am-peanut butter crackers
snack 4 am (driving home after night shift) cheese stick.

All day lots of water, coffee and/or tea. Occasional serving of peanuts, cashews or trail mix type of stuff, yogurt for snacks some days and cottage cheese for a treat.

Weekends I only do 3 meals a day and a snack if needed. It's worked for me all this time.

I eat about like you do as well. I catch flak from alot of people for the amount of calories I eat but seriously, if I don't eat enough, I will lose weight.
