So not perfect but I'm proud of it, a big change from yesterday when it was chocolate cake for breakfast and chips for lunch. I'm on my way to losing it

10/18/07 RNY ( hw 305 sw 290 lw 189ish) St Joe's 08/14/14 RNY reversal to sleeve. I survived 3 leaks,4 operations and a feeding tube.

Still..131 protein with 1694 calories..you did pretty darn good. I gotta think that's pretty close to 30% protein..alittle higher on the carbs but they weren't bad ones. Potatoes, even french fried are sort of on the fence with me. I can eat those before a big old slice of white bread and they won't make me sleepy after I eat 'em like white bread will.

Chocolate cake for breakfast?!? lol..yeah, there's not much worse than that..unless it's a hershey bar and a coke..That's what my husband used to eat when he was young and in his own business..crazy kid! He's nearly 69 now..doesn't know any better yet but if he did that now, he'd have to lay down pretty darn quick..l

YOu did great..keep up the good work. See ya.

Not a horrible start, but I definitely see room for improvement.
I need to get my protein up (Unjury protein has been ordered!!) and increase my water intake.
I also need to decrease total carbs by at least 1/3 to 1/2.

Actually, you did awesome..the slim fast bars are high in carbs but they're not bad carbs..they have a bit of fiber in them so it's not all bad..the cookies, meh..those are not good carbs (except the fruit but that's usually syrupy and so..still, no).

apples = GOOD..peanutbutter = GOOD...

A suggestion on the water..drink herb tea, decaf is good. I have a wide selection of different flavors of herb tea..I love it..and it changes it up with warm and then cold..and for protein snacks..hard boiled eggs, deli meat wrapped around a stick of cheese. I was buying string cheese individually wrapped but I find that I can cut a block of cheese pretty close to 1 oz pieces..close enough for my needs..half a 1 lb block is 8, half of that is 4, half and then half..each one is 1 oz..works for me.

But really, you did good..

Thanks!
Its an encouraging start.  I have (and will probably always have) a monster sweet tooth.
It takes me a day or two to go cold turkey

Great suggestions on protein snacks.  I've added them to my list.
And as for the herbal teas....I LOVE tea, but I'm trying to get used to the flavor of artificial sweeteners.  Plain water tastes better than the aftertaste so far, hehehe.
