Accountability - Sunday
Well, from tossing roof tiles yesterday my shoulder, knee and back are aching..Didn't do much today..sit around alot, went to church and then home..but I didn't do too bad..
My eats for the day:
coffee (late today, didn't roll out of bed till 6:30..the wind was so strong last night it was moving the hood on a car in the yard and it was causing the loudest squeeking..I'm half tempted to toss a tire on that hood tonight just because!)
breakfast: my old recipe for protein waffles, 1/2 small pear, 1/2 serving sf pancake syrup
double espresso latte with soy milk
24 oz herb tea while at church
instead of a second breakfast, I had lunch: 1 can of tuna packed in water, drained. 1 T parm cheese and 2 T zesty italian dressing on rye bread toasted..yum..
24 oz drink mix with ice, non caffeinated
24 oz drink mix with ice, caffeinated
dinner: my salsa and black bean crock pot chicken breasts. I ate it on a cup of cooked cabbage.
and for dessert: 1 oz honey roasted peanuts
Totals for the day:
Calories: 1370
Fat: 63.9
Carbs: 107.0
Protein: 103.7
Actually, I shoot for higher protein than carbs but with carbs being good ones, I will allow some slippage..So I think I did pretty good.

I felt good after our hike yesterday, but today my body is KILLING ME! instead of getting a pedi after the hike, we should have gone for a hot tub. Needless to say, we didnt do much today either.
Another thing, do you think its possible to be allergic or developing an allergic reaction to all the powdered protein? Ive been itching all over for a week now. Something as if it were my detergent or body wash, but its not them (at least i dont think it is b/c ive been using them for a while & havent had this problem before).

1c home made chicken & sausage gumbo broth! oh man, this was a good choice. had maybe .5oz of chicken (1 little chunk) & 2 tbsp of rice. Since this didnt have any sausage or really any chicken, i didnt include it in my totals as i really didnt know how to count it.
2nd dinner:
16oz protein shake

Cals: 770
Fat: 6.5
Protein: 99

I think it is possible..it may not be the protein but some other additive in it..they put all sorts of things into those..I tend to have itchy skin too and when they tested me they said it was basically nothing..like psoriasis..whatever! I know I didn't have this issue before surgery..I've done some research on it too and there's a good possibility that I have a mild case of celiac disease (since it runs in my family) because a rash is a symptom..that would mean I need to cut out all glutten stuff..I'm not really ready to do that yet.
You might check with fitday on that canned chicken stuff..they have that in their system..I'm not sure about the rice..
