Accountability- Friday (FINALLY!)

Not the Same Dawn

Another day of rushed pace..I did get out in the sunshine for my lunch. The temps were high enough to put the top down on the mustang..I consider myself very fortunate to live in Southern California where we have 300 days of sunshine a year. BLESSED! ..I heard about the payroll problem and apparently, I signed up for Long Term Disability in 1999 but they didn't start deducting it from my chec****il 2006 when I signed up for my husband's life insurance. They don't allow two life policies for spouses..so there isn't anything I can do but cancel the one (LTD) in order to pay the other (Life)..No need to call the union..wow..would THAT have been embarrassing! As it is, I complained to everyone on the planet already..

My eats today:

5:00 am 12 oz coffee w/NSA Swiss Miss

5:30 am 1/4 super protein waffle, (no fruit..these protein waffles are WAY dense!) 1/2 sf pancake syrup (Biotin, Multi, Fish Oil, D3, Glucosamine, Turmeric)

6:00 am double espresso latte with splenda

7:00 am 24 oz herb tea, Bigelow Vanilla with splenda (finished the rest of it during a meeting at 8:30

8:00 am 1oz mozzarella cheese, 1 pc turkey breast deli meat (Calcium Citrate, Calcium Carbonate and D3)

9:00 am 1 small pear

10:00 am 24 oz drink mix with ice, GV Strawberry

11:30 am 24 oz drink mix with ice, GV Energy Strawberry Caffeinated

12:45 pm 4 oz roast beef, 1 oz cheese sauce, 1/2 small roasted potato

1:30 pm 24 oz drink mix with ice, I can't remember the flavor..

3:30 pm 1 hard boiled egg

4:00 pm 24 oz drink mix with ice, Lipton Mandrin & Mango Tea

5:45 pm 2 sugar free chocolate chip cookies (not many of these left..they're small, alot smaller than the 2" cookie I'm basing my stats on so..one cookie it is)

6:30 pm 4 oz pork chop with some marinara sauce left over from a couple days ago and I wanted to eat some french fries but the marinara sauce about killed the inside of my mouth! What is up with that?

Totals for the day:

Calories: 1531
Fat: 75.1
Carbs: 83.4
Protein: 131.1

I actually could use more carbs..Not more calories but more carbs..I'm sure that marinara sauce had alot of salt cuz I'm thirsty thirsty...wow..otherwise, I did pretty good. I don't know what it is with so many calories..My metabolism just seems to cook all those pesky calories out..

How did you do?

I never thought about diluting the chili..that's a really good idea! Usually, I'm buying the chili with no beans and adding a can of black beans to that to feed the three of us..Dense protein is the basic of my intake all the time but I'm further out, I think.

Wow! Would you look at that protein number!? You did awesome. and the fat is so low. The chili was good honest to goodness GOOD carbs and fiber..very good. With all that protein you need the fiber and water or you'll be stopped up good..

Good all around! When did you have your surgery? I don't believe I saw.

Keep up the good work. See ya.
