Wow..that's alot of protein! But I did get alot of water. The afternoon was so hectic..With a deadline at the end of the month I've come to the conclusion that everyone has lost their mind..It's crazy the stuff they're doing! But I'm still mostly in control. Things will calm down. I know they will!
How did you do?

I think the craziness is in the water, or air...somewhere because it was all over the place at my work too. I did get out in the sun and did some walking today. I had to before I went off on someone. I support your getting ourt of dodge this weekend too Dawn. The ohrase "putting your toes in the sand" keeps coming to mind. Go to the beach????
Here's the food for today:
B: 1/2 2% cup cottage cheese, 2 tbsp golden ground flaxseed, 14 almonds, 5 prunes, 1 packets Stevia
Starbucks iced venti sugar free vanilla 2% latte
L: 1 cup white chicken chili, 3-4 oz curry chicken breast
3 x 16.9oz water
D: 1 slice protein bread, 1 tbsp garlic paste, 1/2 quesadilla al pastor
16 oz diet peach snapple
S: 2.25 oz pumpkin seeds, 34 grams sugar free milk chocolate mont bar
So I weighed myself this morning and am back down to 197.2.. YAY! The feeling rollercoaster has crested and I am grateful again. It doesn't have so much to do with the weight (although that helps), I really think it is menopause. Going to get a hormone check in a couple of weeks. Okay enough of that for now. Have a good one....

Maybe..but with gas prices, getting to the beach would cost a tank of gas..and I'm afraid to spend it. We have sand here. Maybe I'll get out and walk around somewhere close. And then in March when I have my little vacation scheduled, I may just have to do that..Time to get all the local festivals and activities scoped out.
You did good. Hormones are not our friend in menopause..although, lack of hormones causes it's own set of issues.
Yea for the scale going down..That roller coaster thing isn't fun..I really have to work on my self talk when the number climbs..really really hard but necessary..You're doing really well, no matter what the scale says today or tomorrow..eventually it will concur with our known facts..
Have a great weekend.

Our union is in negotiations too but.. I'm looking at what the governor does and what he says he's gonna do and I am willing to bet that they will close us down for a month this next fiscal year (July)..Mostly because a neighboring school district did the same thing..and the school board has the power to do that even if the union jumps up and down and screams (and they will, I'm sure)..
So I need to be ready.
Your list is good..lots of fluids..Really low numbers. Not alot of solid food..Are you okay?
Have a great weekend. see ya.

Well... I m still in the postop liquids phase - so thats lots of liquids. although i have gotten out of having just chicken broth & totally cant tolerate beef broth anymore.
Alot of the time im: tired, sluggish - even stupid, sometimes has a slight headache & this week particularly the gerd has been really bad. even though im tire, i get energy bursts, but usually crash around 10/10:30am.
I take my vits every day - but the Dr did say that i need to get in more cals (when i was barely hitting 550-600). so i try & pack in another protein shake (more cals & protein), which gets me to my level.
What i usually do is have a cream of veggie soup from the cafeteria from work. The bad thing about that is i have no idea what the cal count on it is - so i just guess.
Hope all goes well w/ the negotiations. I always watch that stuff on the news :( Keeping you in my prayers.
