Accountability - Wednesday
Busy busy busy day..didn't even have time to write or type anything down until just about 4 pm...but I remember what I had..Its jsut a matter of figuring out WHEN!
My eats today:
5:30 am 12 oz coffee w/NSA Swiss Miss
6:00 am 1/4 super protein waffle, 5 medium strawberries, 1/2 sf pancake syrup (Biotin, Multi, Fish Oil, D3, Glucosamine, Turmeric)
7:00 am 24 oz herb tea, Bigelow Vanilla with splenda
9:00 am 1oz mozzarella cheese, 1 pc turkey breast deli meat (Calcium Citrate, Calcium Carbonate and D3)
10:30 am 24 oz drink mix with ice, Peach Mango Caffeinated
11:00 am 24 oz drink mix with ice, Wyler's Peach Tea
12:45 pm 1 Jose Ole Monterey Chicken Burrito
1:30 pm 24 oz drink mix with ice, Mio Strawberry
2:30 pm 2 turkey sausages with a slice of processed cheese
4:00 pm 1 turkey sausage
4:30 pm 24 oz drink mix with ice, Cherry Limeade Caffeinated
5:30 pm 4 oz tilapia, 1 cup canned peas, 1 cup mashed potatoes and 1 Tablespoon margarine
Yeah, dinner was a bit carby..but it was a really stressful day. They just keep getting worse and worse cuz the deadline is coming the end of the month..each day I think "My GO****hey've all lost their minds! They can't get any worse" but then they DO!

Hang in there Dawn. Right now work for me is pretty good. I work in a chemical dependency hospital in a women's hall. We usually have about 20 patients on the hall and right now we have about 12, so I'm totally caught up on on top of my caseload. It feels good to be in this place with work right now.
My food:
B: 1/2 cup 2% cottage cheese, 2 tbsp golden ground flaxseed, 14 almonds, 5 prunes, 1 packet Stevia
Starbucks iced venti sugar free vanilla 2% latte
10 oz water
L: 4 oz carne asada, mixed greens, mixed veggies (zuchinni, tomatoes, cukes), grated carrots, grated cheese, 2 tbsp ranch dressing, 1/2 tbsp creamy chipotle sauce
20 oz water
D: 3/4 Red Robin turkey burger w/slice swiss cheese on whole wheat bun, 8 sweet potatoe fries
S: 2.25 oz pumpkin seeds, 34 grams sugar free milk chocolate/almond bar
Really wanted to eat a second chocolate bar. Really having an emotional frustrating time with my monthly visitor. Hyper critical of myself and just feeling irritated with everything. Going to need to chill out.

You're right, of course..I am thankful to just have a job. Lately I've been bummed due to issues with pay check..It's a long long story but they owe me for something I was paying for and not getting since May of 2009..and sending messages and not having even an acknowledgement that they are working on the problem..makes me really cranky with looking at these folks day after day.
I'm super irritated with most everything this week myself. I am the one who trains people to use our purchasing system and the deadline for ordering is February 29th..It seems like everyone has forgotten anything they ever knew! They've all lost their minds! One girl who is really frustrating to teach because she doesn't retain anything from one day to the next has taken up putting in items less tax to make the totals match the quotes that are without tax..(meaning they're 8.75% less than the totals before tax..totally 17.5% less than it should be). How she is managing to do something this complicated when I know she needs to follow a map to get herself to work each day is beyond me! Then someone put in items that needed to be split funded and they didn't do it but added a line regarding the funding to each line item..??? Someone came to pick up a purchase order today to use a credit card for an order that wasn't even signed yet the ink on it was barely DRY!..not to mention 45 emails when I sat down this morning 20 more before lunch and 45 more after lunch..And everyone needs everything RIGHT NOW..
I need to remember I can only do what I can do..I can't do any more than that. Some things are just gonna have to wait..
I'm not sure what to do to chill this out of me but the weekend is coming. I need to get out and move around in the sunshine, if I can find it. Each time I got up from my desk it was a brisk walk to deliver or pick up something..the brisker the better..moving around maybe the ticket..more movement..I should have gotten out in the sunshine too..maybe tomorrow.
You did good. Keep after it. try getting out into the sunshine and walk alittle if you can..it can't hurt and it just might help.

You know... I wasnt able to post for what... 2 weeks. In that time, i stopped tracking for 6 days & gained 2 lbs. I got a first hand reminder of how this is all really connected & how critical it is to my success.
While i dont know why i gained those 2lbs (since i was "eating" the same thing -even less... maybe my system is starting to go into starvation mode - ??), i see how important it is. Needless to say, I started tracking again on the 22nd.
My "eats":
Breakfast
1/2c cream of wheat
6oz cl
8oz tea
16oz protein shake
lunch:
1c cream o fmushroom soup
16oz tea
10oz cl w/ fiber
dinner:
protein shake
totals:
Cals: 770
Fat: 10.5
Protein: 85
While i dont know why i gained those 2lbs (since i was "eating" the same thing -even less... maybe my system is starting to go into starvation mode - ??), i see how important it is. Needless to say, I started tracking again on the 22nd.

That's possible! I heard someone yesterday who didn't have surgery put it like this..when you try and diet and keep yourself from eating, your body thinks you are in some sort of famine and when you do eat, it hangs onto the fat to store for use later..It makes sense..When I dieted, I quit eating alot..and when I started back up I gained right away and more than I was before.
The theory is to eat little bits throughout the day so that your metabolism stays high..your body thinks times are *a plenty* and will volunteer to toss out the fat stores. So long as you can keep from eating a full meal six times a day!
Your list is great..You are getting more water than that though? Just doesn't look like enough to me for a high protein intake..
Keep working it..what works for you may not work for anyone else..

thats exactly what the Dr said.
So maybe its good that i have the little bits of stuff in creamed soups & chicken noodle - as long as im not eating a whole taco or chicken breast....
He also said my body needs that fuel.

My protein shakes are made w/ water. I try to get in 40oz of protein shake/day (over 80grms of protein).
i also drink at least 1 20oz vita water, & 20oz of CL / day.
Do you think i need to get more?
