Accountability - Tuesday

Not the Same Dawn
on 2/7/12 8:09 am - BEE EFF EEE, CA
Tuesday was cancelled for lack of interest..Sinuses..that's what I'm blaming it on..I stayed home for the day. My eats:

coffee

1/4 serving protein waffles, 2 slices pineapple canned, 1/2 serving sf pancake syrup

snack: 1 oz cheddar cheese, 1 pc turkey breast deli meat

24 oz herb tea (took my morning vitamins..didn't forget!)

sugar free banana bread with margarine (took some of my calcium without the caffeine!)

Lunch: 1 cup cooked cabbage, 4.5 oz cooked chicken breast with 1 oz thousand island dressing

I got ambitious and did 2 loads of laundry and did alittle baking..decided on chili for dinner..yum.

24 oz drink mix with ice, caffeinated

Dinner: 2 cups chili con carne with beans..and my evening vitamins (well, my noon ones...I still need to take more calcium..)

I'm thinking a hard boiled egg later after another couple of drinks of water

Totals for the day inlcuding the hardboiled egg

Calories: 1573
Fat: 75.9
Carbs: 126.4
Protein: 105.7

Still, not bad. 42 grams of carbs just in the chili but those are GOOD carbs..I'm gonna take it anyway.

How did you do?

Im off for the week but i still have to work from home.
LORD I DO NOT FEEL LIKE logging on tomorrow!!!
Feeling a little better & a little worse today.
My throat isnt burning as much & my voice is starting to come back, but my body now hurts. feels like i did 1000 crunches.
Im more comfortable being around food this time. I dont feel as if im mourning it as much. Im also not as paranoid, but I do question/need clarification as to if i can have yogurt & pudding while in the Full Liquid phase. it DOES list these things in the full liquid phase, but they just DONT seem like "liquid". know what i mean.

my "eats" were better today.
breakfast:
6oz coffee
4 oz protein shake
8oz tea

snack:
6oz chicken soup broth
4oz protein shake
a good 12oz of sobe vita water

lunch:
6oz miso soup
6oz hot tea

snack:
6oz protein shake

dinner:
8oz puerto rican bean broth
2oz tomato basil soup
4oz hot tea
6oz cranberry juice

i'll try & start counting my cals tomorrow but w/everything im drinking, im bettre they're not adding up to much at all.

I just wanted to check in really quickly and say that I am still hear and eating what my body needs.  Work has been really rough, a lot going on and I have been getting home late and exhausted.  I may not post tonight, but I am on target with everything.  I will say that things are getting a little wobbly.  Last night I made a last minute change with my dinner plan and ate some prunes that were not in my plan.  Not that big of a deal, but not great either.

I will post Thursday night for sure and just to be accountable will be making meal plans for myself to take me through the weekend.  It just works better for me to do that.

I am greatful you are here.  I don't know why it works for me to post my food here, but it does.

See you all later.

Hi Leslie!

I totally get it when work gets all stupid crazy. We've been going through that fire drill for basically the past year & its FINALLY about to come to an end.
I did happen to "discover" that, during that yea, i made the WORSE food choices ever! I mean seriously - i had just completely let go & ate everything & completely stopped working out like i was a natural skinny girl.
Its always good to see you here when ever you can make it. I suppose my point is, dont forget about you :)
I dont see what so wrong w/ prunes - their good carbs, right?

See you soon,
Candace

Prunes are good carbs..they're really good for ya..you know, for regularity. I've been looking at fruits and the absolute best one for the carbs you get are apples..pears are good but they're higher in carbs than apples. And it sort of makes sense..an apple a day and all..

Mmmm. I should have an apple for dessert today..that way I'd have my apple at day in..

See ya thursday..
