Accountaibility - Monday
So I was back out early putting up more flyers on the pooch. I know I'm not suppose to put any flyers on mail boxes but I did cuz..well, it's for a really good cause (to me)..someone complained today and I have to admit, I was less than christian in my response..I wished all sorts of evil on that man's dog..but after time to cool down, I'm better and he can be a bitter, unhappy, crotchety old man..I'll just make sure I leave him alone!
My eats today:
4:30 am 12 oz coffee w/NSA Swiss Miss
5:00 am 1/2 egg burrito from the weekend
6:00 am double espresso latte, frothed soy milk and splenda
6:45 am 24 oz herb tea, Lipton Vanilla Caramel Chai
8:00 am 1 oz cheddar cheese, 1 pc chicken breast deli meat
10:00 am I've already eaten my tuna casserole! Uh oh..
10:45 am 24 oz drink mix with ice, Hawaiian Punch Berry Limeade
11:30 am 24 oz herb tea, Good Earth Cocoa
1:30 pm 1 cup of rice noodles in honor of Chinese New Years..LOL, my friend from china made them so, of course, I had to have alittle. Super filling!
2:30 pm 1 small pear and 1 hard boiled egg
3:00 pm 24 oz herb tea..really it's not warm in this office!
4:30 pm 24 oz drink mix with just alittle ice, Crystal Light Energy Strawberry Caffeinated
6:00 pm 1 small low carb stuffed bell pepper..wow this was YUMMY..and then a piece of sugar free yellow cake made with fruit ****tail (in light syrup..) yeah, this wasn't my finest choice..and then I had honey roasted peanuts too..
I'm better now. I'm full, but I'm better..watch out..here come the numbers:

Fat: 87.6
Carbs: 136.5
Protein: 100.7
Yeah, the cake was alittle over the top. oh, and the noodles..otherwise, it wasn't a horrible day..I had my ups and downs..It's done, it's out there and tomorrow I can try again. I got my water and my vitamins..alittle walking. so the day wasn't a complete failure.

B: 1/2 cup 2% cottage cheese, 14 almonds, 5 prunes
Starbucks iced venti sugar free vanilla 2% latte
2 x 16.9 oz wtare
L: 2 x slices protein bread, chicken patty, slice cheddar cheese, 2 tbsp onion/ chive cream cheese, 1 tbsp BBQ sauce
2 x 16.9 oz water
D: 3 oz cornish game hen, 1 tbsp butter, 1/2 mushroom/onion
24 oz diet peach snapple
S: 2.25 oz pumpkin seeds
1510 calories, 86 fat, 78.5 carbs, 109 protein
I feel unsettled today. Was out of work because my car is out of commission so I was bored and spent a lot of time thinkin of food. Got laundry done, cleaned the house but still feeling out of sorts. Also is that time of the month (sorry if that TMI). Will be glad to go back to work tomorrow. Keep my mind busy and off of me...

awwwww Im so sorry that you lost your pooch. That is such an awful feeling. IDK what we would if we lost our pretty little girl. My sister said some ppl actually take other ppls pets! I was shocked to hear that, like - Who does that?!??!

With each day i feel i get a little better & yesterday followed suit.... a little... maybe...
my "eats":
Breakfast - 24oz coffee coffee coffee
bariatric advantage vanilla flav high protein powder w/ 8oz of 2% milk
8oz water
12oz chicken broth
6oz ff greek yogurt (love that stuff!)
16oz hot tea
Lunch was a bit more difficult & I started to think that i should get "creative" w/ my liquids... "creative"... lol
Here's where i knew i went wrong. i went for some soup & a hard boiled egg. I got:
12oz creamed soup (aka clam chowder from the cafeteria @ work - so it wasnt strained. instead i loaded w/ a little cheese & 5 croutons... DANG THOSE CROUTONS - they must sprinkle them w/ crack or something b/c i find it very difficult to resist them).
I think i can have creamed soups on this liquid diet, but i have to get the canned creams & stay away from the cafeteria @ work.
While i was in the cafeteria i also grabbed myself a little (seriously) spinach & egg salad (w/ about 10 more croutons on it w/ oil & vinegar). Salad must have totalled about 2 cups worth of food.
The really bad part (epic fail) - i felt full 1/2 way through the soup but kept eating. Then 2 hours later i started in on the salad (even though i was still full). i are 1/2 then & 1/2 later. I actually had to put it away in my desk drawer so i wouldnt see it & eat it.
late afternoon/ early evening i was feeling hungry -
i tried to choke down the unjury chocolate protein powder, but that stuff SUCKS & I tossed it!

Dinner was better...
i only had 8 oz of wine (instead of the bottle - thats progress)
10 oz tomatoe juice
2 eggs
trying again today. have to get better.
I feel like im running out of options "food" wise. Thats why i went for the creamed soup. Im also thinking i can have soups like the butternut squash (its runny...). Think i'll stop off at safeway before the office & grab more soups. I also need to work in some fiber.

It's a long long story about the dog. I actually found him wandering by the freeway last Thursday night..so I took him home and posted FOUND signs. Friday morning my husband didn't put him in the house and left for an hour..The dog disappeared.. We took the found signs down and put up MISSING signs..Sunday a woman called saying she thought it was her dog (we weren't sure)..and we told her where we were so she could come over and look for him in our area..but we were ALL looking for him. Hubby and I talked and discounted the woman's story cuz the dog is obviously a man's dog..pretty old and very spoiled..Today she called again asking if we'd seen the dog and explained the dog isn't really hers but was her husbands. Her husband died last fall..Yeah, we were correct about the dog. He's an old man's dog..that's why he had been so glued to my husband! So now we're back to looking and worrying again..Now I'm upset all over again over that poor lost, heart broken old dog..It just breaks my heart to think of it!
Croutons are bathed in butter before their toasted..that's the problem with them..if you can limit to just a few, then you're a stronger person than I am!
I totally get that out of sight out of mind..I make them close the lid on donuts around the office..if I don't SEE them, they aren't really there..at least in my mind.
I don't like Unjury either..
I think if you make your own soups and then repack in serving size containers..that might help..at least then you can be sure what is in the soup..
