Good day.  Pretty tired.  Left the house around 6:45  a.m. and just got home.  Here is the food for today:

B:  1/2 cup 2% cottage cheese, 14 almonds, 5 prunes, 1 packet Stevia

Starbucks iced venti sugar free vanilla latte

2x 16.9 oz water

L:  2 slices protein bread, 2 tbsp almond butter, 1 tbsp sugar free apricot jam, 1 banana (protein bread - 96 cals, 0 fat, 16 carbs, 8 fiber, 8 protein per slice)

2 x 16.9 oz water

D:  1/2 to 3/4 Pollo Bowl from El Pollo Loco (grilled chicken, pinto beans, rice, pico de gallo, onions)

16 oz Snapple diet peach tea

Calories 1457, Fat 40.5, Carbs 166 - WOW rice/beans in pollo bowl which had 71 carbs on its own, protein 81.

Wednesdays are tough.  I have to figure out what to eat while I am out and about because I don't get home until late and have to eat on the road so to speak.  I thought this pollo bowl would be okay and maybe it is.  I don't know.  I mean the rice is Meh, the beans are okay aren't they?  What do you think?

the carb number is high but then the carbs you got in that number aren't all bad..If the stuff you left from the Pollo Bowl was mostly rice, you did awesome. Refried beans are high in carbs but they're good carbs..Beans are really good..And rice occasionally isn't bad either. I go with brown rice or instead, have them leave out the rice. Sometimes, they'll put more beans in there. The restaurant that makes my egg burrito puts in more eggs and cheese when they leave out the hash browns..I tell that kid cooking that if he ever needs a home..I'm adopting him! LOL.

One of the places that I go will put grilled veggies in the bottom of a bowl instead of rice..I think it's Fire Island Grill..I love my fast foods! And I'm a big tipper so they usually make my food special (they like seeing me coming!)

Doing really good..where you can, increase the vegetation and lower the fat and other carbs..That's what everyone from Oprah to the governor does..Veggies are GOOD for you..

Keep up the good work. see ya.
