Can anyone please help - Question Re: Insurance

  Can anyone please help?  My question is - I have Tricare Standard (North Region).  Does anyone here have this same insurance?  If so were you required to do a Physician Supv Weight Loss Diet before you were approved for your surgery.  If so for how long?  If you can help me I really appreciate it!  I will succeed at this!  One step at a time!!  Thanks!  :)  FoxyMomMa 

I have Blue Cross Blue Shield and they too require a six month dr supervised period except in cases where the BMI is 50 or above. I landed right a 50 so I was able to put my surgery on the fast track. Check to see if your Ins has a BMI clause. You may qualify to have the surgery sooner!
