Last day of my vacation. I think the week will feel really long even being a day short. I'm going to worry about my poor kitty...but I'm ready to head back to work.

My eats for today:

6:00 am coffee with NSA Swiss Miss (sugar free homemade, of course) Up late..getting lazy.

6:30 am 1/4 protein waffle, 1 small apple microwaved, 1/2 serving sf pancake syrup (before my morning exercises)

7:30 am coffee w/ NSA Swiss Miss

8:30 am 24 oz herb tea on the way to my physical therapy

10:30 am the rest of my tea while shopping

12:00 pm 1/2 serving of salsa and black bean chicken leftovers

1:00 pm 24 oz drink mix with some ice, Wyler's Peach Tea

2:00 pm 24 oz drink mix with some ice,

2:30 pm another 1/2 serving of salsa and black bean chicken leftovers

then I took a nap..yeah, I slept pretty long too..until 4:30

5:30 pm a 1/3 lb cheese burger with processed cheese product, barbecue sauce on a sandwich thin..I wasn't going to have the sandwich thin but decided I would anyway since the carbs I've had today were all good carbs and not bread carbs

I need another couple of water containers..I think maybe some tea before bed..

Totals for the day:
Calories: 1453
Fat: 73.7
Carbs: 111.6
Protein: 101.4

Hmmm. Much better! Tomorrow is back to normal and I may even weigh myself. I haven't done it in some time..

how did you do?
Yes, RNY worked for me but it also requires a lot of work from me!

I hope your kitty is feeling better soon, or is it end of life care for Kitty? Our last cat Fred (Frederica) lived to be 17 or so. She was the runt of the litter of our cat Lucy's litter; the pet store took all the kittens except Fred; they said she was too puny and ill looking. I wonder how old those other kittens lived to be; probably not 17! Our Internet has been so slow with all this blustery weather that I have not been able to be on the computer too much. I have had an okay day so far but am working night shift so that always throws me off schedule! I brought my own snacks, so even if I eat too much it will be food with some quality to it; but I realize a calorie is still a calorie!
0900-hamburger gravy on light bread
1100-baked apple w splenda brown sugar
1300-homemade light mac N cheese ( 1/2 the pasta and I add pureed butternut squash) and spinach salad w dried pears, few nuts and crumbled RF bleu cheese
1900-more of that salad with 3 oz tuna added to it; chicken would of been better but I did not have any thawed and cooked
I brought Greek yogurt and raspberries for later, 2 sf mint patties for later. and two  100 cal pack snacks 1 cookies and 1 Cheez it mix. I also brought mint tea and the diet hot cocoa ( 25 calorie Swiss Miss) and a couple of Crystal light packets.
I have got half of my vits and such and brought the other half with me. I found a new chewable Vit D for adults, I am trying that now.
I went to the Y; yikes I have not ran for over a month! My goal was to run for 4 minutes at 5 mph and walk for 1 minute at 4 mph for a total of 30 minutes ( not including warm up cool down) I had to downgrade to a run 3 walk 2 ratio. I will do that again on Wednesday and Friday. My goal is to run every other day for two weeks to get back on track so I can join my group again, I really miss them. Hope your PT exercises keep going well, seems like you had a good week or so while on vacation; any correlation there? Are you doing anything at work to aggravate your shoulder?

It's so weird how the human body works..building up your stamina takes a LONG time but miss that exercise a couple of times and it sure goes away pretty fast..

I'm not sure about Chubby's outlook..He'll be 13 in February..My grandmother had a cat live to be 28 years old! We got him, I have to say 1972 or 1973 and in 1990, he was still around..Chubby is big like a Maine Coon and should weigh about 23 pounds if he was healthy..he's down to 9 pounds..He did eat well this morning and has been sleeping next to me..and on me at night. I need to comfort him as much as he comforts me if this is his end of life process.

You're right! My eating is bad during vacation days but I do my PT exercises twice a day while I'm off..when I work, I eat right, reach too much but only do my exercises once a day..I've been working on static exercises (IE Shoulder shrugs) while sitting..maybe that will work. I have been reaching here at home but it's slow and steady, not quick reaches..I'm not in a hurry while at home..I just have to be careful at work.
