Accountability - Tuesday
Wow..I'm so dogged down to day..just barely ahead of the curve for me. I'm cold too..I think it's time for a nice hot shower, sweat pants, socks and an blankie with a plug!
My eats:
5:00 am 12 oz coffee w/NSA Swiss Miss
5:30 am 12 oz coffee w/NSA Swiss Miss..again I forgot to make my waffles ahead so I"m up and making them now..
6:00 am 1/4 serving waffles, 1/2 serving sf pancake syrup (b, multi, fish oil, turmeric, glucosamine with Breakfast, calcium later)
6:30 am double espresso latte, frothed soy milk and splenda
7:00 am 24 oz herb tea, Celestial Seasons Honey Vanilla Chai
8:15 am 1 oz mozzarella cheese, 1 pc turkey breast deli meat (calcium and D)
8:30 am 1/2 an egg burrito for a breakfast celebration
9:45 am 24 oz drink mix with ice, GV Energy Pomegranate Lemonade Caffeinated
11:30 am 24 oz drink mix with the last of the ice, Lipton Mandarin & Mango Tea
12:00 pm 5 oz pork cooked, cooked cabbage, tomato sauce..
2:15 pm 24 oz drink mix with ice, GV Strawberry not caffeinated
3:00 pm 24 oz herb tea, Lipton Vanilla Caramel Chai (trying to get warm..it's FREEZING in this office!)
6:00 pm 5 oz chicken breast, 1/3 cup mashed potatoes, 1/2 cup canned green beans, 1 oz gravy..

I wish I had the money for a tutor twice a week the time we spend doing homework is not exactly "bonding time". DH is safe and already at work at his deployment site

Oh I hated homework time..my son whined and I was mostly yelling or getting mad..It wasn't my finest hour, that's for SURE.Your schools don't have a tutor program at all either? Some schools will let an older student come and help the younger kids. Sometimes that's even better than parents (who are tired from working and all...we just don't make the best tutors or teachers. At least I sure don't..
I'm glad your dh is safe..the getting there and getting back is the most dangerous portion of deployment.

I make my own waffles:
1/3 cup CarbQuick Baking Mix
1 scoop CarbThin Soy Protein Baking Mix
1/2 cup cottage cheese
1/2 cup plain soy milk
2 eggs
1T Flax Oil
2T Flax Meal (I grind two tablespoons of Flax Seeds fresh)
This makes FOUR waffles. The stats on one are:
Calories: 191
Fat: 11.8
Carbs: 8.3
Protein: 16.4
You can use low carb bisquick or similar product and you can find a sub for CarbThin too, probably..I get mine at netrition.com..Because it's the foundation of how I eat, I buy it about every 6 months or so from there..It's expensive but I think it's worth it to me.
