Madhouse Monday here..much to do before lunch so that I can fit in a doctor's visit and what I thought was a physical therapy appointment. They set me up on JANUARY 5th and not DECEMBER 5th..oh well, I got some shopping time in..never a bad thing..I got a pretty good deal on two gifts for my son for Christmas..and a lead on some awesome stocking stuffers..I think I may be doing some more shopping Thursday afternoon..or on my lunches..yeah..

  My eats:  
5:00 am 12 oz coffee w/NSA Swiss Miss  
5:30 am 12 oz coffee w/NSA Swiss Miss..again I forgot to make my waffles ahead so I"m up and making them now..  
6:00 am 1/4 serving waffles, 1/2 serving sf pancake syrup (b, multi, fish oil, turmeric, glucosamine with Breakfast, calcium later)  
6:30 am double espresso latte, frothed soy milk and splenda  
7:00 am 24 oz herb tea, Celestial Seasons Honey Vanilla Chai  
8:30 am 1 oz mozzarella cheese, 1 pc turkey breast deli meat (calcium and D)  
10:00 am 1 small apple raw  
10:40 am 24 oz drink mix with alittle ice, Lipton Mandarin & Mango Tea  
11:45 am 1 stuffed bell pepper (turmeric, calcium and D)  
12:30 pm 24 oz drink mix with ice, GV Wild Strawberry Caffeinated  
1:30 pm 24 oz herb tea, Lipton Mango Peach  
4:00 pm 1 hard boiled egg  
5:00 pm Pork chop braised. What started out as Chicken Cacciatore turns out to be Pork Chops..dear hubby forgot that those packs of frozen meat he put in there Saturday were PORK and not chicken..I could understand if I had packed them and I had put them in the freezer but he did this all on his own..anyway, I counted it as 4 oz pork chop, 1 cup cooked cabbage, 1/2 cup tomato sauce, broccoli flowerettes.  
6:15 pm 1 oz honey roasted peanuts

All in all a good day. I read an article at the gastro doctor's office about journaling your food..apparently they've done studies about how good it is to keep track of what you eat and they even talked about how to's..nice! The gastro doctor said I need to eat plenty of veggies..I said done and done..He wants me to see him in two years to be sure I'm alright (cuz he said aspirin is good for your colon...yeah, not for me!) but ya know? I don't really like his office staff (crappy attitude) and his scheduling really sucks (arrived at the endoscopy center at 11:15 and FINALLY got in at 1:15...fasting. Show up on time for my appointments and don't get even SEEN for a half hour..I'm not impressed..I'm not angry or anything but I'm not going to go back to him..just not impressed.

I will have to wait until closer to Christmas to shop, I need to work a few more shifts if i can at my second job but not too many hours open right now. I have some stuff that i think would sell on Ebay for about $300 if I could just get it listed! Angelina Ballerina stuff from American Girl; it is real cute and hardly used, it was my nieces and my DD is not into it so I will sell it. Too bad about the docotrs office, I totally understand, I switched primary care docotors because of her office staff.
I have recorded my intake minus dinner will do that before bed, drank all my water and spent 45 minutes on the treadmill.
0900-eggbeater omellette w veggies and bacon
1100-apple and 5 kisses
1300-turkey bolognese sauce over brocoli and 1/2 breadstick
1630-lc tortilla w 2% cheese and salsa
2030-ww chicken entree
2130-will be sf, rf apple crisp

I'm doing good doing the stretching exercises for my shoulder for 10 minutes a day..I'm such a slacker!

I found a really good thing the other night..a large ceramic floor tile with a stand..you paint a cute picture of grapes or something and include a black dry erase marker with it and depending on how good the painting is, you can sell those on Ebay too..I'm thinkin...I'm not a bad artist..I could do that..

 Hi dawn,
its been awhile for me . i keep slipping up and now my sugar is dropping. i see the dietbetic dr on thursday. restarted the patch this morning.. i wont be able to do much christmas shopping so low on money after i pay my bills i figured i would bake and give that stuff out as gifts. i did make sugar cookies yesterday. i only had one. the batch made 64 cookies.i still cant find your waffle mix. i like to get some. anita

here is what i had for monday
2- 16 oz coffee

B- 1/2 c. fiber one
1/4 c. milk

L- 2 slices 100% whole wheat bread
2 slices bologna
2 slices of cooked salami

32 oz water

S- 1 banana and peanut butter

D- 1 1/2 c. chili- didnt eat the beans. 
1 slice cornbread

1/4 c. oj

32 oz water

S- before bed
1 serving cream of wheat and 2 % milk

There are low carb biscuit mixes that are pretty good but I get CarbQuick from netrition.com on the internet because it's the only place I've been able to find it..I tried it on a whim from there to pad an order of sugar free syrups..and now I'm hooked.

Sugar dropping is dangerous! Be careful. I have to eat every couple of hours to keep mine up but if you include a dense protein or high fiber something with your white carbs, it should help some.

You list looks a bit carb rich to me..maybe take a look at the stats for things like fiber one cereal, cream of wheat, bananas, cornbread. you might be super sensitive to those things cuz I was for a long time. I can't eat cream of wheat at all anymore even if I do add protein powder to it..

Years ago when we had next to nothing, we shopped and had Christmas AFTER Christmas cuz the prices were alot better. I still shop the christmas clearance each year because of that. We used to get a christmas tree on Christmas Eve cuz the lots were closed and the trees were free..we wrapped presents in the Sunday funnies..I made home made gifts for the kids too and alot of people I just baked goodies for instead of any gifts I got really good at making home made fudge! ..

 hi dawn,
i will have to check out the stores again for low carb baking mix. 

my sugar dropped twice  sunday. one time it was 56 and in the middle of the night it was 49. 
i never know what to eat now. 

i guess i better stop my carb rich but never know what to eat at times. i hate eating every few hours but i will try. i hate to gain. 

i talked to my mom this morning i told her i was crying and had a headache from not having enough money to buy presents. she said just make all your baked goods and give that out as gifts. she had to remind me of a story years ago when dad only gave her $50.00 for 18 gifts. i guess i could buy gifts after the first of the year. i do have a fake tree so dont have to buy that. u have a good recipe for fudge. sometimes mine dont turn out right. 

well i hope i have a better day today with foods...   Anita.
