Accountability - Wednesday
Wednesday.. I'm feeling much better. My voice is nearly back to normal.
My eats:
5:00 am 12 oz coffee w/NSA Swiss Miss
5:30 am 1/4 serving waffles, 1 medium banana, 1/2 serving sf pancake syrup
6:00 am double espresso latte, frothed soy milk and sf ice cream syrup (caramel)
7:00 am 24 oz herb tea, Good Earth Cocoa
8:45 am 1 oz mozzarella cheese, 1 pc turkey breast deli meat
9:30 am 24 oz drink mix with ice, Wyler's Peach Tea
11:00 am 1 small green apple
11:30 am 24 oz drink mix with ice, GV Straw3berry Energy Caffeinated (while I walked around a store)
12:30 pm 4 oz turkey breast meat, 1 oz turkey gravy, 2 oz scalloped potatoes
2:30 pm 24 oz drink mix with ice, Hawaiian Punch Orange
4:00 pm 24 oz herb tea, Blueberry Tea with splenda
5:30 pm 6 oz stewed pork chop, 1/4 cup cooked corn, 1/4 cup canned white beans, 1/3 cup canned tomatoes
Totals for the day:
Calories: 1219
Fat: 45.8
carbs: 82.3
Protein: 124.2
I've come to the conclusion that the pain in my shoulder is not going to go away magically..I'm gonna have to work that arm, even though it hurts. I'm so tired of being in pain! But it really is true that if you don't use it, you'll lose it..So I'm gonna work my arm/shoulder three times a day and ice it if I have to..This is probably the one and only time that I've been sad that I can't take NSaids due to my RNY..
Other than that, I may drown my sorrows in some sort of a dessert. I can afford it!

Yes, RNY worked for me but it also requires a lot of work from me!

Hey Dawn, Leila here. Haven't been on for a long time. Sorry to hear about your shoulder. I have been wrestling with back pain so I really feel for you.
I have been going through some changes with my diet also. After our fast of Ramadan in August this year, I started to fast on Mondays and Thursdays, as it is an Islamic Tradition. I also have hope that it will help with self-control issues. In addition to that, I have been trying to switch over to a more vegan style diet. It needs planning on my part so that I am diligent about my protein. I have seen some improvement, but I still need much work.
Starting my fasting day off with: water, vitamins, cottage chesse (not vegan, but good proten) and applesauce, small roll and protein drink. The fast begins at dawn and ends at sunset. So I don't know how this evening is going to turn out yet.

Glad to see you..I was thinking about you just the other day.Sometimes the changes for fasting and vegetarian diet make it more possible for you to pay better attention..like you said, plan more.
