I had a day on Wednesday. After fighting it really hard all week, I'm finally realizing and admitting that I'm coming down with it. Probably the flu since I didn't get a flu shot..I ate not much..

Didn't even eat dinner last night..darn it.

Oh Dawn, I hope you get better! Keep yourselfhydrated, I was just hospitalized with pneumonia and I'm sure that it hat me so hard and fast because I was dehydrated. I hope you get to feeling better and get lots of rest.

THANKS! I hit it with everything I had..all the remedies that I could think of..mega doses of C, garlic (which is great for chest congestion) and echineacia..plus herb tea, ice water and zicam..and plenty of rest..

I had pneumonia once and I never wanna do that again! scary stuff! I'm staying in doors today and no shopping at all for me. Just staying hydrated and rested.

It started about 4 years ago with a friend Carol, who posted each day like I have been doing. When I get to it too late, someone else posts theirs first.

We keep track of what we eat during the day, every day and post it to stay accountable to everyone and ourselves for what we eat..totals and vitamins and water..all of it for everyone to see and comment on if they want. We try and encourage and support as much as humanly possible..For those who don't participate, the lists are there for ideas for anyone who needs ideas on meals or snacks..Anyone who wants to can start it. I generally do but you don't have to wait for me..

ok, we have the same kind of thing on the Ontario forum. someone usually starts a "what am i doing/eating today", and its more of a plan for the upcoming day, prospective rather than retrospective

Planning ahead is really important..I usually pack my lunch for work with all the snacks that I can and should eat but then if I decide to eat them..I can. Hard boiled eggs, oz of cheese with slices of deli meat..I have 1/2 cup containers that I put cottage cheese in and sometimes put either salsa and cheese (and warm it up) or sugar free jelly like a dessert. I also have single serving sf pudding cups or single serving apple sauce (nsa)..an apple with peanut butter..

What you see on the lists here is what we actually do eat..either way, helpful.
