I got up pretty early today..4:30..No reason other than I'm excited to have the next week off. We went shopping and walked a bunch..I cleaned a bit (vacuumed and cleaned a couple problem spots on the rug) and a couple of loads of laundry..Otherwise, about normal..Planning my meals for the week..I found a great garlic pork roast recipe for tomorrow..cleaning to do..

Coffee

Coffee

1/4 serving waffles, 1/2 large apple, 1/2 serving sf pancake syrup

double espresso latte

1/2 egg burrito without the hash browns..much nicer without those!

24 oz container drink mix with some ice, GV Strawberry

coffee

3.25 oz tilapia, 1 sandwich thin, 1 slice swiss cheese, 1/2 tablespoon tartar sauce.

Not sure if I want anything more to eat but I might..I do need more to drink but ice water doesn't sound great..Maybe some warm tea..

Totals for the day (so far if I don't eat anything else):

Fat: 53.3
Carb: 90.8

Not great..especially with the amount of water I've had..but it's still pretty early.

How did you do?
Yes, RNY worked for me but it also requires a lot of work from me!

I worked 7 pm to 7 am last night at my second job, so eating was a bit off due to sleeping.
0815-=fried egg on 110 cal english muffin and 2% cheese
7pm teriyaki chicken, salad and 2  steamed gyoza
9 pm small slice sf pumpkin pie w a dollop of cool whip
1030 pm-smart pop and 5 vanilla wafers
probably not enough water, but was thirsty when I woke up and had 32 oz water from 2:30-4:30 and anothe 32 oz from 7 until now, so not too bad. I woke up around 2:30 organized the kitchen a bit until DD wanted to be picked up from her sleep over, DH is at drill this weekend; last one for awhile since he gets deployed on the 28th; yikes that is right around the corner.
Your shoulder must be feeling better if you were able to clean. I planned a few meals that will get us through the week. I bought a prime rib to make for tomorrow for DH; a special treat for him. I am making black bean soup for our lunches for the first few days any way. I just remembered I forgot to pick up hamburger or ground turkey for chili! I have stew meat, I have seen that some people use that; doesn't sound right to me though.

I've used chopped up meat in chili..it makes it a bit more dense for us. I just chop up the stew meat into smaller pieces and use that like hamburger..fry it up and then stew it for a while..it tenders up pretty good.

I'm so sorry he'll be deployed for the holidays..Hopefully no where dangerous.

I'm doing bad on my water this week. I am feeling alittle better from the colonoscopy (which was nothing..) but my arm sure hurts more. I know I had to lay on it during the scoping..but I see the physical therapist tomorrow. I'm gonna ask her if she thinks this is doing much good or if she suggests that I contact the osteo guy for an MRI..

Ooo. Prime rib..YUM. I thought about that for T-day but we're stuck in that Turkey rut. Chili sounds really good too. Rainy weather just screams chili to me..

Keep up the good work..see ya.
