I staged a roast beef today in the crock pot, even though I got up late..5:45 is fudged for sure since I'm sure I didn't have coffee made by that time! Trying to stay up beat but darn it! The people on the freeways today were NUTZ! I saw more fingers and fists waving this morning than I saw on MONDAY! And I had contact with one of my most remedial students (office worker) three times before 8:30..I've come to the conclusion that she is just not teachable! I'ts been a LONG day..the end of a LONG week..whew..so glad it's the weekend..
5:45 am 12 oz coffee w/NSA Swiss Miss (well, maybe 6 am)
6:15 am 1/4 batch chocolate protein waffles, 1 small apple and about 1/2 serving sf pancake syrup
6:50 am double espresso latte with frothed soy milk
7:00 am 16 oz herb tea, Lipton Bavarian Wild Berry (yeah, left my favorite tea mug at work..darn it!)
8:30 am 1 oz cheddar cheese, 1 oz turkey breast deli meat
10:00 am 24 oz herb tea, Bigalow French Vanilla (well, most of it.)
10:40 am half my lunch: 4 oz roast beef sandwich on rye with two slices swiss and mayo
12:00 pm 12 oz decaf with half n half and splenda
12:30 pm the other half of my sandwich
1:00 pm 24 oz drink mix with ice, Crystal Light Energy Peach Caffeinated
2:30 pm 24 oz drink mix with ice, Hawaiian Punch Orange
3:00 pm 1 hard boiled egg
4:30 pm 24 oz drink mix with ice, Lipton Mandarin and Mango
5:45 pm 4 oz roast beef, a cup of cooked carrots..seriously I wanted to eat the potatoes so I came back later..
6:30 pm 2 more oz of roast beef and 3/4 of a small potato. WHEW! I'm stuffed..
Totals for the day:

Fat: 77.2
Carbs: 113.96
Protein: 134.8
Wow..protein abounds..but boy am I full now..I count it a good thing..

I agree with TGIF! Not sure why since I am working my second job this weekend 7 AM-7PM Saturday and Sunday. I already put in 50 hours at my primary job, oh well we need the money and I am grateful for the opportunity to make the extra money. I know others do not have the same opportunity. I volunteered half a day on Wednesday at Project Homeless. It is an event that provides services for the homeless; dental care, medical care,and all kinds of social services. It was packed; people were waiting out in the cold for hours before we opened up.

1830-teriyaki chicken and steamed veggies-not one grain of rice!
2030-apple and PB
all my water and such. I did not follow the 5 day thing to the letter but feel in control again. Halloween sugar cookies in the copy room did not even tempt me and I did not keep thinking about them all day like I usually do.

I know. I'm so thankful that I have a good paying job with benefits. Seeing the lines outside in the cold is a stark contrast to the occupy wall street bunch.
That's cool that the 5dpt gave you back your control! When I get really stressed and feel like I might lose control I hit the liquids for a day. It's sort of a mind reset, bordering on religious fasting sort of thing with me. I haven't had to do it in quite some time. My problem lately is that I've been walking at lunch some days ****il my walking partner hurt her foot..) and immediately the scale went up 2-3 pounds and has stayed there..I stress over that. You know the mindset.."is this the start of it? I'm I doomed to diet again?" I know. I know..three pounds doesn't an obese person make but ARGH...
In any case, if you enjoy what you are doing, you LIKE going there..
