Well, the blood work went well. Fasting wasn't too bad. I packed my lunch and breakfast last night before I went to bed and got up as late as I could..I figure less time is good so I don't concentrate on what I'm not getting (breakfast and coffee!)

8:00 am 1/4 batch chocolate protein waffles, 1 small pear and about 1/3 serving sf pancake syrup (I think it was 1 ounce)

8:30 am 12 oz coffee w/splenda and powdered creamer

9:30 am 24 oz drink mix with ice, Crystal Light Lemon Ice Tea

11:00 am 1 oz mozzarella cheese stick, 1 pc deli ham

11:30 am 24 oz drink mix with ice, Crystal Light Energy Peach Caffeinated (while walking..I walked over a mile in 20 minutes today..yeah me!)

12:00 pm 1/2 container 24 oz water with ice (sort of..) GV Strawberry

12:40 pm half my lunch: 4 oz turkey pastrami, 1/4 cup sauerkraut, 1 slice swiss cheese on two slices of Jewish Rye bread..(something I decided to treat myself to cuz of having to fast this morning..i've been waiting over a month for this and it is SO GOOOOOD!) very filling!

1:20 pm the rest of that container of GV Strawberry

1:40 pm the rest of my pastrami piece of heaven!

3:20 pm 24 oz drink mix with ice, Wyler's Peach Tea

4:10 pm 1 hard boiled egg

4:45 pm 24 oz drink mix with ice, Hawaiian Punch Orange

5:30 pm 1 oz honey roasted peanuts (before my shower, before dinner)

5:45 pm 1/3 lb cheese burger on a sandwich thin with barbecue sauce and bacon..

Totals for the day:
Calories: 1594
Fat: 80.9
Carbs: 109.5
Protein: 115.8

Actually, I'm pretty happy with this day. I did a short count on the pastrami sammie and it was 388 calories..and 27 grams of protein..not too bad at all. The bread was 25 grams of carbs..not bad at all. I'm very pleased. I may just do that again..AND a really good thing..it didn't give me noxious gas! An added benefit..

How did you do? 
Yes, RNY worked for me but it also requires a lot of work from me!
