Looking for a natural appetite supressant

I am 22 months post op.  I have regained about 10 pounds and I am scared to death.  What has all the sudden happened?  It seems like I woke up one morning and my old appetite was back.  Wondering if any of you guys out there know what is a good natural appetite supressant.

One of my problems is I don't exersice.  I know!! Shame on me.

Up until April of this year all was fine.  Then all the sudden I can't seem to shake my hunger.  I know that it is true hunger because I keep thinking about it.  If I can shake the thought, I know its just me wanting to eat.

Any advice?  any Help?

 Hi Teresa:

I would check my carb count.  My appetite went into overdrive when my carb count double.  I cut out all the white food products (sugar, flour, cake, candy, chips, white bread, pasta) upped my protein to between 80-100 grams a day and made sure that I was not drinking with meals only after 30 minutes from the meal.  I also starting walking.  I am not an exercise person either but I love being thin instead of fat so I now walk 5 miles a day.  I had a gain of 60 lbs.  I have taken off 45 lbs since Mothers Day.  It can be done.

Amen to what Tess said..White carbs will really do it to you..A friend of mine was gaining and decided to journal what she ate..she was surprised and dismayed about how many carbs she was eating..When she cut the white carbs out, her appetite went down to normal..

It seems that those white carbs actually make you crave more of them..a chip or two turns into a sub sandwich turns into a whole batch of chocolate chip cookies (even the sugar free kind!)
Yes, RNY worked for me but it also requires a lot of work from me!

Well, I am not eating any white carbs.  I have found roasted peanuts and pork skins.  Thinking this might be the culprit.  Since my surgery I can honestly say that I have not put anything in my mouth that I shouldn't.  My hardest time is in the evening after work.

Calories in and calories out. A calorie is a calorie. Period the end.
But...
Carbs will make you crave more carbs.
Exercise is a must. Make yourself walk. You gotta move to lose the weight.

So Maybe it's time to "detox your body". You can do this and hell yes it's hard.
Try EAS low carb shakes for at least 3 days. Really hungry? Time to eat fish and veggies and fresh fruits. Dieting? Yep. It's our life. Call it lifestyle change and stick to it. Reward yourself with non-food. It's only 10 pounds and you can do this!
