I wasn't sure I wanted to go walking or go to starbucks so I went shopping on my lunch AND walked half my normal..1 mile plus shopping and no starbucks. I'm liking the way it makes me feel..clears my head!

5:00 am 12 oz coffee w/NSA Swiss Miss (or my sugar free hot cocoa mix..)

6:00 am 1/4 batch chocolate protein waffles, 1 medium pear and about 1/3 serving sf pancake syrup

6:30 am double espresso soy latte (2 oz espresso and 4 oz of plain soy milk frothed)

7:00 am 24 oz herb tea, Lipton Vanilla Chai

8:00 am 1 oz monterey jack cheese, 1 pc ham deli meat

8:30 am 12 oz coffee w/splenda and fat free creamer

8:45 am 24 oz drink mix with ice, Wyler's Peach Tea

9:30 am 24 oz drink mix with ice, Crystal Light Energy Peach (Caffeinated)

11:30 am 24 oz drink mix with ice, Lipton Mandarin and Mango

*Walked a whole mile in alittle over 15 minutes PLUS I went shopping for the first half hour of my lunch..*

12:45 pm part of my lunch which was 2 cups chicken tortilla soup (left overs!)

1:30 pm the rest of my lunch soup

2:00 pm 24 oz drink mix, Wyler's Peach Tea

3:00 pm 24 oz drink mix with ice, Crystal Light Energy Strawberry Caffeinated

3:45 pm 1 hard boiled egg

4:30 pm 24 oz drink mix with ice, Hawaiian Punch Lemon Berry

6:15 pm 1/3 lb cheese burger on a sandwich thin with mayo..frenchfries (5 of them)

Totals for the day:
Calories: 1631
Fat: 83.8
Carbs: 119.2
Protein: 110.3

Not bad. I'm okay with that..really tired cuz I didn't get enough sleep last night but I can fix that in a real short minute..BEDTIME!

You are a walking machine! The exercise endorphins are addicting! I went for a 2 mile run before work, am so glad I did since I had to work late and I probably would not have done any exercise. I was too pooped to make soup!
0900-egg beater omellette w mozarella and veggies
1100-cookie- darn!
1300-1/2 sandwich and veggie soup
1500-apple
1815-hamburger patty w rf feta sandwich thin
2100-?rf string cheese and rf wheat thins or popcorn if we have any
I am so glad it is payday tomorrow; the cupboards are bare! I will grocery shop after work if I get up before work and hit the gym. Big meeting tomorrow at work for them to explain to us how we are going to teach the same amount without three full time educators and four other educators cut to part time from full time; it will be interesting. Bed sounds like a good idea, but first I will watch Survivor!

LOL..Walking just clears my head so well..with drama in my family right now..I need the time away and by myself.

One cookie? I bet that poor cookie was lonely. Good for you for stopping at only one.

I know what you mean about payday..I contributed to a retirement plan for a year about 20 years ago and they offered to either roll it into my current one (and buy about half a year toward my actual retirement) or pay it out..I took the pay out..minus, of course, the feds cut that I'm sure hoping I get back at the end of the year!

Here's my eats fir the day, I seemed to have snacked more that eating actual meals. Probably not good.

B: Carbmaster cherry yogurt, 1 schwans sausage link
S :Atkins caramel double chocolate protein bar, 1/2 c.grapes
L: Subway 3" tuna sandwich on wheat bread
S: Grande skinny vanilla latte
S: 1/2 small apple and 1/2 serving of pistachios
D: Carbmaster strawbwrry colada yogurt

I got all my vitamins and fluids in.

Totals for the day are
Calories: 990
Fat: 48.28
Carbs: 100.17
Protein: 57.22



I need to get in more calories and protein and less carbs!

Do they have the flat bread at your Subway? I really like that and it doesn't make me all bloated feeling..

You could add some protein snacks like hardboiled eggs or deli wrapped cheese sticks..or more nuts..

All in all, you did awesome..Snacking is sometimes a necessity cuz we don't eat enough at actual meals to keep us fueled for the whole day..I approve of snacking..not grazing but snacking.

GREAT...any movement at all is good for you..all that hormone stuff helps with feeling better. endorphines like morgansmommy (Mary) said.

hi dawn and all,

well this morning when i weighted myself it said 138.4. i am trying to weight my self every thurday instead of every day. i think i had a pretty good day and when i went shopping i did buy some good food even tilaipa from aldis. 

16 oz coffee

B- 1/2 c. plain yogurt with slpenda and vanilla

16 oz. coffee

L- 3 3/8 oz pork chop
1/2 c zcchinni, tomatoes, onion- didnt eat it all

32 oz water

D- 4 oz. chicken stir fry
1/2 c. instant rice- didnt eat it all

16 oz. cold tea

S- 1 apple
1 oz. colby cheese
5 saltines
1/8 pumpkin pie

 yes.. i see i am losing and i am trying not to step on the scale every day.. 
yes i am trying... and will even more now when i live alone. i wont have someone saying oh to this and oh to that. he made a comment yesterday since i bought cho protein powder. he said you knows thats for people that lifts weights and if you drink it you will gain. is that true?
