Competition day! My soup recipe says it only takes one hour for it to be made but I had to deliver my soup at 9 am..and then baby it along till 11:30 when the judges get theirs! I didn't win anything but so many of the soups were SO good. Mine was surprisingly low in calories and high in protein (28 grams) but still with the veggies it was high in carbs too..still, kept me full for HOURS!

4:30 am 12 oz coffee w/NSA Swiss Miss

5:00 am 12 oz coffee w/NSA Swiss Miss (or my sugar free hot cocoa mix..)

6:00 am 1/4 batch chocolate protein waffles, 1 medium pear and about 1/3 serving sf pancake syrup

6:30 am double espresso soy latte (2 oz espresso and 4 oz of plain soy milk frothed)

7:00 am 24 oz herb tea, Lipton Vanilla Chai

8:00 am 1 oz monterey jack cheese, 1 pc ham deli meat

9:00 am 24 oz drink mix with ice, Hawaiian Punch Lemon Berry Punch

9:30 an 24 oz drink mix with ice, Hawaiian Punch Orange (used the left over ice)

10:30 am 24 oz drink mix with ice, Crystal Light Energy Strawberry Caffeinated

11:30 am 24 oz drink mix with ice, GV Blackberry Grape (used the left over ice)

12:30 pm all sorts of soup..about 2 cups! That's one serving size of the soup that I made..plus a bit of salad not really enough to count but it was filling.

Too full to even sip water!

2:30 pm 1 hard boiled egg, 1 medium plum

3:15 pm 24 oz drink mix with ice, Power Edge Wild Berry Caffeinated

4:00 pm 24 oz drink mix with ice, Lipton Mandarin & Mango Tea

5:45 pm 2 chicken drum sticks, deep fried, 1/2 cup mashed potatoes, 2 T brown gravy..yum!

Ooops..not as good as it could have been..I had a really fun day..even if it wasn't very good in my numbers. Well, tomorrow is another day (thanks, Scarlet!) How did you do?

Soup sounds good, I have not made my black bean soup yet; long day at work! We bought a new washer and dryer on my lunch hour today. My FIL had given us his( practically new and $2000 each) over a year ago because he moved from their house to an apratment and he did not need them anymore. He moved to a new apartment where the ones he gave us would fit and asked for them back! The ones we gave away were not new but worked just fine and we did not plan on replacing them anytime soon. I am done complaining but I was a bit bugged; they were not a loan and we would not have have given ours away.
0830-eggbeater omellette

1900-chili mac a WW recipe
2100-might be agg salad on lettuce I am still feeling empty and I have boiled eggs and romaine in the fridge.

Oh that sucks..He should have offered to buy you some, even cheaper ones..but sometimes inlaws just don't think like that..

Well, at least getting irritated is some exercise. not much but it is. I was *****y about the soup deal cuz when I kept having to do something to mine, someone made the comment that it was too complicated..I just said "It's a soup recipe, not stew.." The recipe was designed to take an hour to complete but we had to deliver the crock pots 8-9 am and start serving 11:30..not exactly a soup you can put in a crock pot..next time, I'm making stew and leaving it at that! and I'm glad to have enough to take for my lunch the rest of this week!

You did great..you always do. I think of you when I'm walking cuz you run..I walk.. I used to run in track but..sadly, knees and feet aren't up for that sort of abuse anymore.

Keep up the good work. I'm jealous! See ya.

Now you having me crave stew! I make it without potatoes. I still like a few hashbrowns or mashed potatoes but not potatoes in stews or casseroles; i used to eat potatoes every day in all shapes and styles.
This is my third year running and I do not do it as much as I used to. It was always a dream of mine. I am not running as many miles as I used to, I kind of like spin class more now. I also seldom Zumba anymore. Tastes change I guess. My kness hurt if I do too much and I enjoy a brisk walk with my neighbor a few times a week, she is the only one I know who can walk as fast as me and she has short little legs! My runs have been off for a few months, but oh well it beats sitting on the couch playing solitaire on the laptop!
I would not think soup or stew is too terribly complicated; wow!
I passed up doughnuts,  and chocolate dipped shortbread cookies at work today. That is so hard for me( and others I know) and now the Halloween candy will start rolling in; arghhh!!!!

You are doing marvelous as usual your self!

Thanks..the only ones who know how hard this journey is are those who are taking it as well!

Solitaire on the laptop..that's a problem! I play scrabble on facebook and last week I took my lunches off..I'm trying to take my lunches off this week too but .. no walking partner today again either..I'll ask her again to be sure but I will probably head to the supermarket to buy the produce that is on sale today..

Good for you on the donuts. We had those in the office yesterday too. Those stupid maple bars really call to me if I can smell them..lucky someone ate that thing first off so I wasn't tempted..

So long as whole milk doesn't make you sick, it's alright..I just cant' drink it cuz I'm lactose intolerant now..I buy soy milk..but hubby buys whole milk for himself..our son doesn't even drink it..

You still did pretty good. Ooo. I bet that chili with the rice hit your stomach hard..It would make me full for HOURS...I got some instant brown rice for us and I can't eat but maybe a 1/4 cup of it...for an occasional thing, it's not bad..with chili, it's pretty darn good. I need to make a pot of chili in the next week or so..when the weather cools down..yum.

Keep up the good work. See ya.
