Accountability - Monday
LOL..you got me all hopped up with that idea! I went crazy:
eggs, cheese, bacon (if you can afford it! bacon is like worth it's weight in GOLD these days)..good quality hamburger (15% or better)..chicken breasts. You can bake a whole chicken breast and strip the skin and bones and pack it into 4 oz baggies in the freezer..it's quick for lunches or dinners..
I make hardboiled eggs and eat one a day. I buy my cheese in blocks and cut it into 1 oz serving sizes by taking a pound, cut in half, that's 8 oz, then that in half (that's 4 oz) cut in half and half again and each piece is 1 oz..it's cheaper to do that than buy the already packed up 1 oz mozzarella cheese sticks. I also buy turkey breast deli meat or even ham deli meat to wrap those in..
boneless pork chops..hamburger you can package into 5 oz burger patties and freeze them with wax paper in between and they're easy to break out and thaw one..or two (if you have company)..I either wrap a burger in lettuce or put it on sandwich thins..Sarah Lee makes thins, Oroweat makes thins..there are others that make them too. I saw them for $1.88 a pack at Winco last weekend!
and tilapia if it's available..that is REALLY high in protein and low in calories..again, all of this you can freeze in single servings and have it ready..
decaf is GREAT..they make splenda sticks that have flavors like Mocha and Hazelnut or Vanilla.. they even had Caramel last year. I'm hoping they come back with it again..it was GOOOD..
ooooh. and tea bags. lipton has some great flavors. berry, vanilla..stash has some good flavors too.
LOL..You'll have so much fun reading labels at the grocery store! I can spend ALL DAY reading labels..LOL.

Way up North in Kitchener Waterloo area it's humid, about 24c today, and rain on and off.
can't decide what to wear to work. one day it's pants, the next it's crops and sandals.
Scary that you ladies feel threatened when you walk at lunch time, that sucks big time.
Here's my menu for the day.
7 a.m. - mini cinamon raisin bagel
12 oz water
10 a.m. - turkey kolbassa, cheese and pickles
6 oz water
12 p.m. - 2 oz lean pork w 1/2 cup of protein potatoes
6 oz
2 p.m. - a few nuts & orange
3 p.m. - turkey kolbassa, cheese and pickles
more water
5:30 p.m. - protein pizza
more water
9:00 p.m. slice of melon
hey that's not so bad.
Lunch time - walk if it's not raining, stop at the Y on the way home from support group for some muscle flexing.

The real threat is a mile south of where we are located and the bad folks just drive through the area but sometime they come to sign their kids up for school...and you just feel alittle uneasy. I usually feel okay in the middle of the day but my hubby is overly protective. I always have my cell with me in any case.
You did pretty good..I can't eat but a bite of a bagel..but I do love them. You did great..Awesome in fact..
Keep up the good work. See ya.
