Accountability - Monday
A typical morning at the DiSomma Ranch..the weather is starting to feel *crisp* again..I love this time of year. Sad to see all the birds heading south but I'm sure they'll be back..The weather will turn before my birthday. I'm begging the hubby to keep the evaporative cooler in the window till the first of October..Just in the off chance the weather guy is wrong and it slips back up to 100 again..probably won't but we'll see.
5:00 am 12 oz coffee w/NSA Swiss Miss (or my sugar free hot cocoa mix..)
5:30 am 1/4 batch chocolate protein waffles, 1 medium pear and about 1/3 serving sf pancake syrup
6:00 am double espresso soy latte (2 oz espresso and 4 oz of plain soy milk frothed)
7:00 am 24 oz herb tea, Lipton Vanilla Chai
8:00 am 1 oz monterey jack cheese, 1 pc ham deli meat
9:00 am 24 oz herb tea, Good Earth Cocoa Black Tea (probably has caffeine in it).
10:00 am part of my lunch: 1 cup cooked cabbage, 3/4 salisbury steak and 1/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese
10:30 am 24 oz drink mix with ice, GV Strawberry Kiwi
11:00 am 24 oz drink mix with ice, Hawaiian Punch Berry Lemonade
12:00 pm 12 oz decaf with half n half and splenda
12:45 pm the rest of my lunch with added 4 oz chicken breast
1:30 pm 24 oz drink mix with ice, Crystal Light Energy Peach Tea Caffeinated
2:50 pm 1 hard boiled egg
4:00 pm 24 oz drink mix with ice, Lipton Mandarin & Mango
4:30 pm 24 oz drink mix with ice, Hawaiian Punch Orange
5:30 pm 3 small chocolate chip cookies (home made sugar free..) I need to quit eating these!
6:00 pm 5 oz pork chop, 2/3 cup canned green beans, 1/4 small baked potato with 1 T margarine from a tub

Actually, not bad..I'm pretty sure I'm gonna have a nice warm cup of tea later..It actually helped me sleep last night..and tomorrow I have soup to make for our competition..I'm making chicken tortilla soup..I've never made it before!

I was up early and did a 20 minute fat burning HIT workout before work, then I stopped at the Y and ran/walked on the TM: 1.5 run @5 MPH total and walked 1.0 mile @4 mph @3.0 incline. All my water and vitamins!

1900-3 oz hamburger patty, sandwich thin
2100-?ff fage and raspberries? not sure but that is the plan!
The above is about 1500 cal and a bit over 100 of protein; a good day for me! I forgot to look at the carb total but I think it was probably fair. I need to make soup too; Eggfaces black bean. I bought everything but have not done it yet, maybe tomorrow. It is feeling like Autumn up here, and pouring down rain again. No way we will get to 100 or even 75!

Speaking of run/walking..I'm pretty sure that I'll be skipping the starbucks when I can anymore..that walking on my lunch just gives me a great feeling. The only problem is that my hubby requires me to walk with someone or not at all..the neighborhood my office is in is not the greatest..actually it's pretty darn bad..I wouldn't feel safe if I was by myself.
I absolutely LOVE eggface recipes. I had the opportunity to meet her in person in Riverside..but I didn't have the gas money and the event was full..poo. Next year!

I can't walk alone at work either; it is really scary. I do not even bring my purse to work with me, I leave my drivers license in the car and will put my cash card in my pocket if I need it.
I would love to meet eggface ( Michellle, I think) there was an OH event in Seattle this year but I could not make it, I wonder if she was there, I think Vitalady was.

We have some security at work and I park pretty close to the door (which isn't normal for me..I usually park a half mile away when I shop at Walmart..) but I also walk between the buildings which means I have to walk across the street. I take my cell phone with me all the time..but just walking up and down the sidewalk..Each way it's 1/4 mile..around trip is 1/2 mile..so I walk fast.

the morning air is cool here. a few times i had my heat on already. still no frost.
how do you make thecho protein waffles. my life is going to be changing very soon. both eating and diffent.

pb on 2 round crackers. ----- this was at church.

32 oz water
L-i went to a town event- dish to pass
2 meatballs
mozz. cheese
spanish rice,spirils and meat sauce
slice of roast beef2 devils eggs,1 asguaus spear
apple crisp
might of had more food. if so i forgot.
hot tea
32 oz water
D- pork chop
fried zuninnii squash
small potato
S- greek spice cake with hickory nuts and pecans--- i made this for the town event
cho cupcake
16 oz cold tea

Not a bad day..you got at least 96 oz of fluid (most people get alot less than that!)..and only 16 of that was caffeinated..that's good. zucchini is good. apple is good. cheese, deviled eggs, asparagus spear roast beef..pork chop..nuts..mozzarella cheese.. all those things were good.
apple into crisp, fried on the zucchini, rice, cake, crackers..spice cake..yeah, those things weren't the wisest of choices but it's not a single day process..it's a long long process..you can turn that around tomorrow..complete do overs.
And you didn't have huge pieces of the sweets, I'm sure..You did fine. You'll do even better tomorrow!

i have a big change very soon. living alone! i asked my boyfriend to move out. so i am sure my eating will be totally different. i am somewhat scared to eat a sweet by its self. since my sugar will drop. also sometimes i wake up and my night gown and the sheet will be wet. i think my sugar drops when this happens. i need to start testing my self when this happens . when i live alone i will start having sugar free instead of normal sugar.
Wow..that is a big change. I know how you struggled with the influence he had on your eating..There's someone out there who is great for you..but being alone is a good thing to get your head together..
I don't know how old you are but I have that stuff happen occasionally but it's hot flashes..I'm 53.
