Accountability - Thursday
Lovely sunny morning..Not too hot for our walk at lunch either..alittle stressful with some issues at work but nothing that can't be handled by a weekend for SURE!
5:45 am 12 oz coffee w/NSA Swiss Miss (or my sugar free hot cocoa mix..)
6:00 am 1/4 batch chocolate protein waffles, 1 medium nectariine(plus 3 strawberries) and about 1/3 serving sf pancake syrup
6:45 am double espresso soy latte (2 oz espresso and 4 oz of plain soy milk frothed)
7:00 am 24 oz herb tea, Lipton Bavarian Berry
8:20 am 1 oz monterey jack cheese, 1 pc ham deli meat
9:00 am 24 oz drink mix with ice, Crystal Light Energy Strawberry Caffeinated
9:40 am 12 oz drink mix with alittle ice (left over) Crystal Light Ice Tea with Lemon
10:30 am half my lunch: 4 oz chicken breast baked, 1 cup cole slaw, 6 cherry tomatoes
11:30 am 24 oz drink mix with ice, Hawaiian Punch Orange
12:00 pm the rest of my salad
12:45 pm 1 cup of grapes
1:15 pm 24 oz drink mix, GV Blackberry Acai Caffeinated
1:45 2 oz salted peanuts
2:30 pm the other half of the drink from 9:30 this morning..no ice left. 12 more ounces
4:00 pm 1 hard boiled egg
4:30 pm 24 oz drink mix with ice, Wyler's Peach Tea
6:15 pm 2.5 oz tilapia (fried..love it!), 2/3 cup mashed potatoes with margarine(actual margarine!) and 2/3 cup canned green beans. I ate alittle more veggies tonight but the potatoes were extra good and the beans just tasted so good! I have fish left over for tomorrow with my cole slaw..
Totals for the day:
Calories: 1677
Fat: 82.9
Carbs: 133.3
Protein: 115.4
Not bad. Now, I could have done without the peanuts but I was going into a meeting and needed a snack..the plum I brought didn't seem to fit and neither did the hard boiled egg..
I'm happy with those numbers. The only thing is that the potatoes are making me SLEEPY..LOL..it might be an early night..How did you do?

Nice to see you chiming in on this! Of course, I'm not an expert by any means but here is my opinion:
The percentages are about right..you're getting enough protein for your calorie total. Your fat is quite low too. The carbs you had were really really good ones. 80 oz is good for fluids..most of those should be caffeine free.
Really, you're doing awesome but unless you want to lose weight, you should get more calories. If you're exercising or active at all, this isn't enough intake to be healthy..Of course each of us is different and your metabolism might be alot different from mine. I know surgeons don't recommend this but if you don't have time to get in your target of 1200 calories, maybe add a protein shake in there somewhere..

Thanks! I love this post but I haven't been able to participate because my old computer crashed and Ijust recently got a new one :) I DO want to lose weight! about 5-7 lbs. So I am going to have a protein shake before bed and see if that helps. I have a hard time getting all of my calories in most days. I still have great restriction! Either that or it's in my head. Either way right? lol
