Accountability - Saturday
Wow..I really kicked my own ass today..we started out pretty normal but walked around Walmart, did all our grocery shopping and then went to a Western Festival about 50 miles from here..We got some unexpected money for gas and spent it on a trip to do some major walking..up and down hills. I thought I was behind on my calories but forgot about my second breakfast..
Here's how the day stacked up:
Up early, 4:30 am..some laundry, some housework but not much..
Coffee
protein waffles, pear and sf syrup
double espresso latte
1 oz cheddar cheese and 1 pc ham deli meat
2 scrambled eggs, 3 slices tomatoes
24 oz drink mix with ice..i think it was caffeinated
24 oz drink mix with ice, not caffeinated
2 fast food tacos (Jack in the Box..with a freebie coupon!)
24 oz drink mix with ice, not caffeinated - much walking..up hill
16 oz plain water, very cold - much walking back DOWN hill..and then half way back up and then back down again! Possibly about 3 miles all together.
20 oz plain water with ice...
1/2 chicken quesadilla at our old favorite, Primo burger..yummy but very very filling..
24 oz drink mix with ice..not caffeinated..I'm certainly not hungry but I'm sure still thirsty after 3 hours in the sun.

Wow..more carbs than I expected but..still. with all the walking, I did alright. Tomorrow, alittle more shopping but mostly house work. With the weather cooling down, I'll be walking more, for sure. I've already decided that my lunches will be spent doing something other than facebook. I have a friend who promises to walk with me at least twice next week..we'll see. I'm gonna try moving alittle more and see if that makes my muscles less stiff..more use=more limber..maybe.
