Okay, quiet day today getting ready for a bunch of walking tomorrow. Tomorrow is Thunder on the Mountain where the whole town of Tehachapi is going to be a giant car show. Last year there were hundreds of cars there..and the park was full of vendors and it was a BLAST..this year we're taking people with us..Our son, a friend from Moorepark, a couple we know here and probably their son too..Cool..and it's FREE...and I can almost afford that!

Our 13 year old cat has lost nearly half his body weight. He was 18 pounds and now he weighs 11 pounds..I think it's the food. He doesn't like it at all..so we're gonna buy him some canned food and see if that helps. We bought one can today and it's worked GREAT..he's eaten half the can..I tried to mix it with the other food but nope..not going for that..Maybe his teeth are the problem..mmm

Anyway, my eats today:

1 oz honey roasted peanuts

1 mini bag kettle corn popcorn, 1 small orange

Protein: 81.7

Not great but still pretty good..How did you do?

You had a great day; carbs under 100! The car show sounds fun, wear comfy shoes! I need some new running shoes but it will have to wait until payday from my extra job. I went for my saturday run at 7 with DH and 4 others from our group. Our "leader" is training for a marathin in October and was running 20 miles today! We are not used to the heat up here and it has been warm in the evenings so i have done more brisk walking than running this last week. We cleaned all day then went out for a early dinner and then to see Spy Kids; it was cute.
0830-scrambled egg beaters w cheese, bacon and a sandwich thin
1200-wasa 2 laughing cow and 6 slices lite salami and cantalope
1700-chicken poppy fruit salad(mixed geens, grilled chicken, fresh fruit in a light poppy vinagrette) at panera and 1/2 of a small wheat baquette,
1930-movie popcorn no butter and 10 junior mints
2130-sandwich thin, 6 slices lite salami and a sprinkle of parmeson
all my water and such, 3.5 mile run and lots of cleaning! Tomorrow will be the usual, church, grocery shop and prepare a meal or two. I am actually working night shift at my extra job tomorrow so I may try to sneak a nap in.
