Accountabililty - Wednesday!
Wow..what a day. I was late and got later as the day wore on..behind in everything and everything was a chore! Then I forgot to send my list home in an email so this is what happened in my day:
Breakfast..well, I forgot to make waffles last night so I had 2 scrambled eggs and a half a piece of bacon..it didn't taste quite right so I passed on it..
double espresso latte with soy milk
24 oz herb tea
1 oz mozzarella cheese, 1 pc ham deli meat
a cup of fruit, mostly melon and 3 slices of pineapple from a can
24 oz drink mix with ice
12 oz decaf with half n half and splenda
a salad..4 oz chicken breast, 2 cups lettuce, 1/2 tomato and 1.5 oz zesty italian dressing
24 oz drink mix with ice
1 hard boiled egg
24 oz drink mix with ice
4.25 oz corned beef cooked (love my crock pot!) 1/8 medium head cabbage, 1 small baby potato
1 oz honey roasted peanuts
Yeah, I'm one container short on water. I got all my vitamins in and didn't get much exercise..alittle before it got too hot.
Oh..and I better make some waffles tonight or I'll have another day like this one!

fresh peach with 1/2 cup cottage cheese
eggbeaters with 1 oz cheddar cheese low fat
1500 calories
120 gms protein
55 gms fat
consumed 72 oz. of water.... this is the best day I've had in a LONG time..
I had iced coffee with 1 scoop protein powder.

Your day is what I shoot for..a great day, I'd have to say..I have ice coffee in the fridge and protein powder but my breakfast has to be warm or the ol pouch closes up shop..scratch that..the first year out from surgery my pouch was cranky with cold things in the morning..Maybe it's time to try it again..maybe this weekend!

Your numbers look great, even without your waffles! I took plenty of food to work with me today and ate all of it!

Have you seen those non refrigerated meals like Hormel's Compleats? Those you can keep at your desk for a while with no hassel..I think the roast beef ones are high protein..about 18 grams if I remember correctly. I went through Walmart about 3 years ago and read ALL the labels on those and picked a couple *emergency* rations for my desk..tuna (pouch or can) is a great go to..with packets swiped from fast food places..mayo, relish..and it's lunch.
Planning is so important for this journey..that and letting it go. I mean if I mess up and have a really bad day and forget .. like the waffles, I need to just bru**** off and walk on. Sometimes that makes all the difference. Before surgery, that sort of amess up would have had me in the lunch room scarfing donuts (and they were there yesterday too! ha! I didn't even go in there.)
