Hey everyone !

I was wondering if anyone has been in a similar position as myself, I had my Lap-Band about 4yrs ago now and am finally nearing the end of my weight loss after recent hard work and dedication I still have about 25-30 lbs before I reach a BMI of under 24,9 which is like a ultimate goal for me, I already surpassed what my doctors said I could get down to and way past the goal I made for myself. However the flabby stomach that sags and my "manboobs" lol.. seem like they are taking there time to receed unlike the rest of my body. I am 27, I weighed 376 when I got my lapband and I excerise fairly intensely lately 5x a week about 1-2 hrs a day I'm now down to about 205~ish. I am not looking to be perfect but anyone know if around this stage of there weight loss after completing to a normal weight if the skin continues to receed? I know many people well above my weight and there stomach is just belly mine looks like crap lol, bulges and folds still everywhere. So any insight of wheter or not it may go down some more would be very helpful or any particular excerises that can focus on those areas without bulking up. I do many many situps, torso twists etc.. Thanks in advance !!

Sure it's possible your skin may shrink more and exercise is always a good thing for toning(so they tell me, lol).  You've worked so hard for your goals why not check with your doctor annd insurance company and see if they will spring for some plastics.

Exercise will tone muscle but it will not tone skin. Skin will shrink somewhat but not completely..That's why alot of post ops who were morbidly obese seek plastic surgery..it's the only thing that will remove the hanging skin. There are ways to get your insurance to pay for it..but it has to be a medical necessity and that's hard to prove(suffice it to say that you need to have problems with smelly rashes in the crevices)..I'm too old to want it that badly but you are a prime candidate..
Yes, RNY worked for me but it also requires a lot of work from me!

I want you all to be aware of a technique that may minimize or prevent your saggy skin. So please share. It's called Dry Brushing. I don't know why it isn't promoted but Definitely start dry brushing! After having kids, gaining weight and losing 99 pounds. I had stretch marks all over. I'm pretty sure I purchased more than $1,000 worth of skin cream :-( So I can tell you nothing works. I purchased generic items to expensive items from my homeland. I was considering a tummy tuck surgery for the excess skin that I had but for the stretch marks I was at a lost. I found information on a technique and it worked wonders for my skin. It's called Dry Brushing. I started a new website for women and men who are constantly seeking new ways to eliminate or minimize saggy, loose, or stretched marked skin I started my site to spread awareness because after dry brusing for about year and half, eating good, using coconut oil, and organic soap, my skin has become so amazing. My stretch marks are not completely gone but they have become very thin and nearly invisble. The skin also has tighten up :-) All you need is a dry brush, soap, and coconut oil and your set. Everyone's results vary.    For Dry Brushing Techniques and Product info  http://www.tightenthatskin.com/p/dry-brushing.html
