Has Anyone experienced Hair loss again??

 Hi There, 

I am 2 1/2 years out from being sleeve, maintaining wonderfully, everything is great. Vitamins Blood counts all good and now all off a sudden my hair has started to fall out again damnit I just got it all back. It is not as bad as it was the first time just alot in the shower before it was shower, bed pillow hairbrush comb,. I am trying to tell myself that it is just that time a year to shed I mean I did do it some before surgery every year around this time just not this much?? 
Just wondering if anyone else experienced this. Thanks

From time to time I notice is and think the same thing....but my hair dresser says it is really filling in thick in back and sides, so some of it is my imagination and sensitivity to the first round of hair loss....that was crazy 3 years ago!

 Thanks I hope i am just sensitive to it too.. 

 Did your doc check other things with the blood like hormone or thyroid? I had a second loss, and my TSH was high, meaning I need thyroid meds. Hair is filling in yet again.

I had same situation and my problem was low zinc....getiing better now that I am taking a daily zinc supplement

By any chance were you sick about 3 months ago?  It sometimes takes about 3 months before symptoms start to show (aka hair loss).  The same thing is happening to me - almost 3 years out - but had a terrible flu about 3 months ago.  I'm upping my protein and water just to be on the safe side.

Iron deficiency will cause hair loss too.  If your Ferritin is < 50 you will notice hair loss.
