More or less I post the total ounces of water and times to show that drinking that much water is possible AND that you can wait to drink a half hour after you're done eating. The eating time is when I finish and the drinking time is when I start..

Not everyone agrees with me but food addictions and sugar/carb addictions are every bit as hard to kick as alcohol (which is basically sugar too) or crack..
My feeling is this: You can't allow the things that you are addicted to back into your *line up*. Alcoholics never have their drug of choice again..crack addicts never have their drug of choice again. I cant' even have certain things in the house at all..I had to search my heart and be totally honest with myself. What I couldn't be trusted with, had to go. I can have a bowl of chocolate candy sitting there (and it's been sitting there since Easter)..no problem at all. I can have cookies all over the house..no problem. But home made chocolate chip cookies? NO..those can never be in the house again..Years ago when I watched my ex-husband give up sugar I saw him go through the DTs and shakes, the sweats..he was sick as a dog for a week all because he gave up sugar..He has since slipped back. Alot of people who have weight loss surgery slip back into their addiction because they haven't addressed the causes. People all over are of the mind that moderation works..it doesn't work in alcoholism or drug abuse so why should it work with food addictions?
This thought is catching on because my vet and I had a talk about it and she goes to FA meetings (like AA meetings but Food Addicts) each monday and invited me. It's the first I've heard of it but I applaud the idea. It's a start!
