Accountability - Wednesday
This last two weeks has really gotten to me..I got plenty of practice expressing my feelings instead of *eating* them! So that is a blessing. Candy (my beagle who was bit by a mojave green rattlesnake) is on the mend but the vet is thinking there's something more wrong than just the snake bite. It's going to cost a BUNCH of money when it's all said and done but .. I couldn't try anything less than my best to do what is right for her..I'm afraid to hear what could be wrong with her but I'll try and stay positive until we know something.
5:30 am 12 oz coffee w/NSA Swiss Miss
6:00 am 1/4 batch protein waffles, 3 large strawberries 1/3 serving sf pancake syrup and butter buds
6:30 am double espresso latte, plain soy milk and splenda
7:00 am 24 oz herb tea, Lipton Passion Fruit and Strawberry
9:30 am 1 oz monterey jack cheese, 1 pc turkey ham deli meat
11:00 am chicken salad: 4 oz baked chicken breast, 2 cups romaine lettuce shredded, 1 cup broccoli flowerettes, 2 oz zesty italian light
12:00 pm 12 oz decaf with half n half
12:30 am 24 oz drink mix with ice, Mango Pineapple Stevia Sweetened.
2:15 pm the rest of that salad, 1 hard boiled egg
2:45 pm 24 oz drink mix with ice, Crystal Light Red Tea - Mandarin
4:00 pm 24 oz drink mix with ice, Lipton Mandarin & Mango
4:30 pm 24 oz drink mix with ice, Crystal Light Energy Strawberry Caffeinated
7:00 pm stuffed bell pepper
Totals for the day:
Calories: 1189
Fat: 59.5
Carbs: 49.1
Protein: 119.6
These are good numbers but I don't feel like I'm in control..

You are in control; you have done excellent keeping to your eating routine. You ahve been at it for years now; you got this down.
Poor Candy, I hope they are keeping her comfortable. Our vet has always been wonderful about pain control but I know others have had to advocate for their "babies".
I was at an all day conference and am still working on some education scripts we will be filming on Friday. I have to teach all day tomorrow so it is going to be a few crazy days here!
0430-muscle milk light on the way to the gym
0630-bagel thin, fried egg, bacon
1245-smoked salmon ravioli(only a few) steamed spinach and assorted steamed chopped veggies and a cookie
1600-1 serving animal crackers
1800-baked chicken breast, sweet potato, steamed brocoli
2000-ww strawberry bar
2200-hungry and will be up late. I am thinking rf wheat thins and a string cheese or maybe an apple w PB.
An hour on the treadmill; yay me! I was in a slump for nearly a week. All my water and such.
Keeping Candy in my prayers; take care of you too!

I have a really tough decision to make. I hope I'm up for the choices..If she's got nerve damage and having trouble walking, maybe that's a good reason to go walking with her when I get her home but...she's just got to be eating or we cant' take her home..
