Yes, RNY worked for me but it also requires a lot of work from me!

You had a good day; protein higher than carbs is always a good day! One day at a time, it does get better ever so slowly , it just takes along while.
I do look at on line menus when I go somewhere new, if it is available. At the Old Spaghetti Factory I have my usual;baked chicken with Greek seasoning, and a side of brocoli wih Mizithra cheese.
Walgreens had Hawaiin Punch and diet snapple drink mix boxes on sale this week;.59 cents! There are only six packets in the Snapple ones compared to 8 in the Hawaiin Punch ones, but it is still a good deal. Crystal Light ones come 10 in a box but the cheapest I ever see is $2.50 a box. .25 cents versus .08-.09 is still a big savings.
0800-ww english muffin, eggbeaters w mozarella and a veggie sausage
1000-skinny cow 110 calorie snack bar; found these at Walgreens as well
1200-spaghetti pie
1400-apple
1830-3 crispy phylough dough type snacks-30 calories each; found them at Fred Meyer
1930-Marsala chicken breast found these in the freezer at Fred Meyer only so-so would not buy again, sweet potato, and brocoli
2100-ww strawberry bar dipped in chocolate-yum!
all my water and such and an hour on the treadmill. I had a hard time running, I think I should of had a snack before running, felt like I had no "oomph".

Sometimes you can find the Crystal Light at the 99 cents store but the flavors aren't the best ones. I found Crystal Light Peach in 14 packet boxes there last weekend..woo hoo! I stocked up. Occasionally Walmart has the CL for 1.98..also..the lipton brand packets are in the coffee/tea isle and there is a coupon for .40 off making a box of those 1.44 compared to 1.84...not bad! I'm such a cheapo! But with all that's going on with jobs and pay and increases in prices...we're ALL having to revert to our cheaper selves..
You do what I do with menus..I scope out what they have ahead of time but if I don't have time or I'm not given time (we're driving from point a to b and stop somewhere) I'm usually the last one to order cuz I'm looking everywhere on the menu for something I can eat..
You did really good..Your snacks are meant to fuel the running..that's awesome. I got to walk a bit more yesterday..sadly, I'm stiff and alittle sore from not walking enough..another goal to shoot for!
Keep up the good work. see ya.
