Accountability - Thursday

Oh my heavenly Lord...today is hard! But if today is hard..tomorrow will be impossible! It occurred to me today that stress nearly always made me sick..I remember in 5th grade I was too sick to go to the last festival I would go to at that school...then going to track finals in high school...too sick..Now, I'm getting nauseous feelings in my stomach after eating..that's reason enough to not eat at all..The closer it gets to the rosary, the worse those butterflies are..damn it! I have to pull this together and then fall apart on Saturday...just keep me sane till Saturday..please..

My eats today:

Breakfast: waffles and a small apple.

coffee I think I had three cups..

I actually did good on water.  two containers before lunch.

Lunch: left over stuffed bell pepper and some left over stewed pork chop..not alot, mind you but shee**** hit HARD..

Two containers of water after lunch

snack: 1 hardboiled egg

double (actually quad) espresso latte

Dinner: I made ham hocks and beans..black beans and pinto beans and tossed the ham bone in there..

So here are the sad totals if I'm able to finish my ham and beans (which is questionable but I'm eating very slowly!)

Calories: 1208
Fat: 54.0
Carbs: 93.6
Protein: 97.5

All in all still not bad. If I'm able to keep down the beans and such..I should be okay today. One day at a time with this..ONE DAY at a time..

how did you do?
Yes, RNY worked for me but it also requires a lot of work from me!

Dawn, you are doing good holding it together! Take it one hour at a time! Do you have any protein powder, if you do add it to your coffee or hot chocolate. How about a little bit of baileys, sf hot cocoa and some chocolate protein powder; that sounds good to me.
I had a busy day at work, I had more meetings and events than I had time for! I was able to get most of it done. The weather here is so nice, I think I will take DD for a walk on the trails in a bit.
0730-ww english muffin,egg beater,1 veggie sausage
0930-apple and Kashi bar
1200-1/2 roll, deli turkey and a slice of swiss, mixed greens, grapes and a small choc chip cookie-lunch was provided at one of my meetings. I did not eat the M&M's or other snack size candy that was everywhere
1700-baked cheetos
Not sure about dinner yet; tired of eggs and out of tilapia. I think I have a Lean Cuisine in the freezer. All my water and such, no exercise except tons of walking fast from one meeting to another and they were about 1/4 to 1/3 mile apart!

I really surprised myself at the rosary. I didn't loose my cool and didn't weep..It was right under the surface but stayed there. Of course, once the stress was over, I got hungry. That was a problem cuz I didn't have anything to eat that was good for me. I ate a big serving of cheesy baked crackers..I shoudl have eaten a protein bar or drank a shake..so tomorrow, I'll put a huge sticky note on the fridge to remind myself! Maybe that will work..

You did great. I'm thinking teriyaki chicken in the crockpot tomorrow for dinner after the wake..maybe that will work! I also have some of those sealed microwave meals in the cupboard..sheesh..why the crackers??? I am so brain dead! I could have made chili but the weather is going to turn warmer and chili isn't for warm weather..

Keep up the good work. Tomorrow, I'll do better..have a great friday with all your walking
