Accountability - Monday

Not the Same Dawn
on 5/16/11 12:41 pm - BEE EFF EEE, CA
I'm definitely having trouble staying accountable these days. My father passed away Saturday evening after I posted my intake for the day and Sunday was a total wash. I did eat my protein first and did remember to eat alittle..I feel hungry all the time but I'm afraid to eat for fear I won't know when to stop! That wouldn't even make sense to anyone other than a WLS person..I'm just not myself right now!

I am sorry for your loss, which is hard enough without all the drama you seem to be facing. Take the time to grieve that you need. I hope you have bereavement days coming to you from your employer. You did really well with your intake considering your emotional state.
When my mom died suddenly in 95 I lost weight and kept it off until my dad died suddenly two years later. I ate every comfort food known to man and gained back all I had lost, and it did not come off until I had RNY 7 years later. I understand your fear of turning to food for comfort. You have your tool and your routine; you got this Dawn.
0730-oatmeal w splenda and a boiled egg
0930-premier protein drink
1230-grilled chicken w onions and red peppers w fresh salsa dab of sour cream and a small corn tortilla
1530-fage, strawberries
and ground flax see
2000-tilapia, sweet potato, brocoli
2100-skinny cow
all my water and such and a 45 minute spin class
I had a mini milky way and kit kat I just remembered while I was waiting to teach a class this morning; darn I did pretty good beside that!
