Accountability - Wednesday
Again the sun is shining and the world is lovely...but Ihave to spend my day stuck behind my desk...with patches of escaping to deliver things and talk to people. No starbucks today cuz we're having a birthday celebration. The theme today is salad so I brought baked chicken enough for the whole group (4 lbs!) and it was POPULAR..yum.
5:30 am 1/4 batch protein waffles, 4 large strawberries 1/3 serving sf pancake syrup and butter buds
6:00 am 12 oz coffee w/NSA Swiss Miss
6:30 am double espresso latte, plain soy milk and splenda
7:00 am 24 oz herb tea, Stash decaf tea, Chocolate Hazelnut
8:00 am 1 oz monterey jack cheese, 1 pc turkey ham
9:00 am 24 oz drink mix with ice, MiO Strawberry Watermelon
9:30 am 24 oz drink mix with ice, GV Peach Tea
10:15 am 1/2 medium apple, 2 Tablespoons peanut butter
11:00 am 24 oz drink mix with ice, GV Strawberry
12:15 pm salad! estimated values: 5 oz baked chicken breast, 2 cups romaine lettuce, 1T sunflower seeds, 10 grape tomatoes, 3 black olives, 4 slices cucumber, 2 oz balsamic vinegrete dressing and a wedge of watermelon for dessert! STUFFED!
2:00 pm 24 oz drink mix with ice, Power Edge, Wild Berry Caffeinated
3:00 pm another wedge of watermelon (while everyone else in the office is skarfing down pound cake!)
4:00 pm 24 oz drink mix with ice, GV Peach Tea
4:30 pm 24 oz drink mix with ice, GV Dragon Fruit Caffeinated
6:00 pm 4 oz tilapia fried, 1/2 cup mashed potatoes from dry, 1/3 cup peas from canned
6:30 pm 1/2 cup honey roasted peanuts

Not bad at all. Tilapia is my favorite protein..cuz I can eat a BUNCH of it and not get alot of calories and a ton of protein. Plus any day that I can have my honey roasted peanuts and still stay under on my calories is a good day!

I am jealous of your sunshine! It poured for hours today; oh well not having to pay to water the grass. I did not wear a coat in to work because I was sure it would not be raining when I left; I was drenched by the time I sprinted three blocks to my car in a skirt!

We're suppose to get rain by the weekend but knowing the history of the weather of this place...we aren't getting ANY rain till August when we're so sick of the heat and dry that when we get a heat thunder storm rain (down pour for a half hour before the sun goes down after a day of 120+ degrees) we all sit on the patio and watch like we've never seen rain before. The kids used to go and dance in the rain like lunatics..
Some days I love teaching (I teach adult professionals our computer system) and other days I just wanna smack people cuz they're hard to teach (stupid, argh!). All teachers (even ones who don't teach well, like me) should be commended..
