Accountability - Tuesday
I left work without sending my list of foods home..darn! I hate when that happens. I know for sure I had six containers (24 oz each) and all my vitamins..alittle walking but not a bunch. The weather was cold but sun was shining..windy on top of that so .. not good walking weather.
Here are my eats without the times today:
Breakfast of protein waffles, strawberries and sf pancake syrup (coffee too)
double espresso latte
snack: 1 oz monterey jack cheese, 1 pc turkey ham deli meat
snack: 1 medium apple with peanut butter
lunch: 4.5 oz chicken breast baked, 1/2 cup canned corn
snack: hard boiled egg and medium orange
dinner: 4 oz steak with 4 broccoli flowerettes cooked and 1/3 cup scalloped potatoes..
Totals for the day:
Calories: 1480
Fat: 68.5
Carbs: 95.7
Protein: 132.2
Tomorrow we're having a birthday celebration. the meal will be salad and I'm bringing my favorite salad addition..cooked chicken breast chopped up..THAT makes a salad a meal. yum.
I did alright today and looks like I might do well tomorrow too..

The sun finally came out around 4 PM! Nice conference today! I have not put my food inot the daily plate yet so no totals but I did pretty good today considering there was conference food and a bake sale in my department!
0800-Fage 0%, sliced strawberries and sprinkle of ground flax, 1/2 ww bagel w ff cream cheese
1000-apple
1230-chicken club on lc wra[; DID NOT EAT molasses cookie and pita chips that were in my boxed lunch
1430-apple slices; left over from box lunch
1630-string cheese, sf brownie
1900-tilapia, sweet potato, brocoli
all my water and vits. I was on the TM for 4 miles combo of running and walking. It was so hot in the Y, I should of just ran outside. I cannot take the heat lately. I need my own personal fan!
Good plan on taking chicken to the pot luck. I did buy some yogurt covered pretzels at the bake sale and had 6 of them throughout the day. I wanted the rice crispie treats, or a snickerdoodle, or the big molasses cookie.

Good evening ladies. Mary, I know that molasses cookie was a trial. You are my inspiration, Maarryy (watching too many old movies. Remember Rock Hudson singing that line to every woman he picked up??)
Dawn. Good news. I found a really good recipe for marinade for my chicken breasts. I cooked up a batch so that it would be ready to just take out and eat when I'm hungry. I can read the preparation you make for events and your days and I'm trying to follow your example. The chicken seems to have worked good. It's even good cold. So I have more out to prepare tomorrow.
My blood work is all back. Ha1c was 5.9. Kidney function looks good. I am back to the doctor's office tomorrow to find out what the word is with this edema.
I'm planning to take my food charts with me. She probably needs to know about those SunChips...

I have an appointment scheduled with a neurologists and a referal for the podiatrist. I'm hoping that I will see some improvement in my feet and be able to get in some walking. I admit that I feel a bit jealous when I read about ya' all walkin'.. I'm hopeful.
