I'm thinking Im getting sensitive to breads and glutten..I've always suspected that I carry the celiac gene and have watched for it..And on top of that, my weight is up two pounds. I must have eaten a TON of salt over the weekend to cause that!

Another day. Trying to get on top of things. The USDA site has been helpful.

today:
11am omelet and soy strips
noon banana
1pm pinapple, coffee and then an entire $.99 bag of Sun Chips. Yes, my legs are swollen and I ate a bag of chips.
2pm coffee and chicken soup
3pm peanuts
6pm turkey wrap
7pm coffee and SF pudding

today's totals:
calories: 1555
protein: 62 grams
potassium: 1871 mg.

alot of fluids in addition to all that coffee and all vitamins.

I am cutting back to 1000 mg of calcium supplements due to constipation issues. I can't really complain. Since I had the surgery 1 1/2 years ago, I have had almost no issues to deal with. So, a little rough patch just now? No problem. I've had too much good to complain.

There are worse things than Sunchips but if you're already swollen...you know..I won't chew you out much cuz you already know! If you're gonna go salty, go with something that has protein in it like JERKY...at least your protein numbers would be bumped..Still not bad for what you ate!

Keep up the good work..see ya..

I have not put my food into The Daily Plate yet so not sure of my numbers. Took the day off for mental health reasons. Cleaned out the fridge, did some laundry and got a haircut. I also went to Costco. I love all things salty; it is such a temptation for me.
0930-100 cal english muffin, fried egg, sprinkle mozarella cheese and bacon
1130-sf brownie
1400-leftover, chicken, veggies and penne  pasta in a light sauce
1830-Costco rotiss chicken, sweet potato, and brocoli
2030-strawberries(from Costco) and a squirt of reddi whip; the berries are so good!
all my water and such but no exercise to speak of but was on my feet and busy all day.
I have a conference tomorrow so I have packed my breakfast so I will not be tempted by danishes and bagels. I have Fage Greek Yogurt, sliced strawberries and a sprinkle of ground flax meal.
The flax meal and magnesium twice a day have helped me keep "things" moving. One day down four to go!

I buy my flax seeds whole and grind them myself in a little old coffee grinder just before I put them in the waffle batter..

Taking a day or two off is quite cathartic at times..Makes me feel nearly normal!

Keep up the good work. See ya.

I post the "whatcha eatin-R U moving" daily thread on the Alabama board, but no one ever responds...so I'm gonna cross post it here daily where at least some folks are participating!!

It is getting hot outside!!  I had the top down today, May 10th and it was 92 degrees at 11:30!  Yikes!  Had my 2 year follow up today.  Weight was good, everything went well--waiting on lab results.  My doctor warned that since I eat 6 or 7 times a day to be careful to not overdo it with calories and make sure I'm eating lots of protein....I assured him that is what I'm doing and I'm staying between 1,500 and 1,800 calories and he was okay with that.

Today's eats:

B-1/2 c cottage chs with fresh pineapple and 1/2 ww English muffin
S-3 oz grilled chicken
L-salad and 2 slices of supreme pizza
S-Chobani strawberry banana
D-5 oz steak and 1/2 cup corn

Desser****ermelon

Exercise:  Tonight I'll go run 4 miles.

Ah! Another convertible cruisin queen! Got to love the sunshine with the top down. We'll be 100 degrees soon enough but this week it's been too cold even with the heater on to have the top down..it's coming though..it's gonna get warm around here soon!

Keep up the good work. See ya.
