Accountability - Weekend off..
Well, it's been a great weekend..I didn't really keep track of my intake but I kept doing the right things..walking, flea market, shopping..For Mother's Day, we went out to a late lunch today...
I'll just share what I did today cuz it was the worst of the two days, eats wise..
Before breakfast: 3 cups of coffee with NSA swiss miss..
1/4 serving protein waffles with four large raw strawberries..and s/f pancake syrup
double espresso and plain soy milk (latte) frothed.
second breakfast: 2 scrambled eggs, rye toast and tomatoe slices (and a cup of coffee w/creamer)
Lunch: hard boiled egg and some honey roasted peanuts *yup, refilled my container!
Late lunch: teriyaki chicken sandwich with pineapple, cheese and the bun...yes, I ate the whole bun and quite a few of the french fries too..
didn't eat dinner but I ate some more peanuts
Total of water was about five containers of water.
I didn't keep track of the totals today..and barely kept track of what I ate!

Yes, RNY worked for me but it also requires a lot of work from me!

Glad to hear you had a fun weekend! We did too. We had a very busy day yesterday and a very lazy day today!
DD wanted to make me breakfast in bed, she started at 9 and finished at 1130!
1130-sf brownie w decorative frosting, sliced stawberries, and sf hot chocolate with whip cream and sprinkles
1300-scrambled eggs w cheese, bacon, english muffin w sf jelly-took over an hour to clean up the mess in the kitchen!
1700-left over half sandwich from a few days ago minus the top of the roll
2030-chicken, vegetables, penne pasta in a sauce
I had another sf brownie too and I just made sf vanilla pudding. I am pretty full so do not think I will have it. No exercise, not enough water but all my vits.
I do not feel like going to work tomorrow. I want to stay home and clean and organize the house with out DD here.

Nice to see 'my ladies' online tonight. I've been missing in action for a few days. It was a busy week with dr. apppointments and blood work, etc. Started a new (actually reintroduced an old..) medicine. Hoping it will help with the seizures. Lots of specialists referals. Looks like I'm back in the land of medicine again. Thyroid levels were too low, so that med has been adjusted. Hoping for relief of pain in my feet, especially the toes. I miss walking. Well, that's enough chatter for one day.

4pm spaghetti
6pm turkey wrap with cheese
9pm mango and SF pudding

I really need to get on track. I'm experiencing edema and weight gain and trying not to panic.

this link will take you to a list of high potassium foods. A serving of apricots has over three times the amount of potassium than a banana! I do not like apricots so this would not help me much, but there are plenty of other foods too besides bananas and they are much higher.
