Accountability - Saturday
I'm definitely short of positive mental attitude today..I can't seem to find it in anyone else and it's really getting me down. I wanted to do the MS Walk but the weather wouldnt' cooperate and so I didn't. But we went shopping. Then I was sore from that walking..I'm short with myself cuz I'm out of shape..argh..
My eats for today:
Breakfast was 2 scrambled eggs and tomato slices at the restaurant this morning.
then two containers of water during the morning turning in my donations to the MS event and shopping..shopping was fun with our son going..he was going to do the walk too but since it was too cold and the wind was really biting . so we
Lunch: two of the tacos I made last night...same as dinner last night
Mid afternoon snack? double espresso latte..
another container of water..yeah, two short but I can make it up later I think.
Dinner: chicken legs in the crock pot with baby red potatoes and carrots..just ate the drumstick first and veggies..
Second Dinner: just the thigh from what I ate before. no more veggies cuz there aren't many left anyway!
Dessert: 1/4 cup honey roasted peanuts.
More for the evening: more water. I had all my vitamins, and some walking. I would love alittle more..maybe I will walk alittle more before the sun goes down.
Totals for the day:
Calories: 1528
Fat: 87.4
Carbs: 87.1
Protein: 104.1
Still, not too bad. I was nearly ready to quit eating afte the drumstick with my being pissy over everyone's attitude but .. I'll be good and eat..
How did you do?

Dawn. Sent you a reply on yesterday's post. Hoping you have a quiet evening and good day tomorrow.
Every day when I saw "hard boiled egg" on your lists, I would get jealous. Before surgery, I was a big egg fan. Then after surgery, I just couldn't get them down. I would try every way of fixing eggs that I knew, but I could not get through an egg. Then this week, things changed. I am so happy. I have been fixing an omelet every day and today I hard boild a half dozen eggs and 'deviled' them.. I now have a stash of eggs all prepared in the fridge.
Now I need to get rid of the chocolate in the house...
today:
10am omelet with cheese and 3 turkey bacon strips
11am protein drink and dried pinapple
noon protein bar
1pm homemade taco and SF pudding cup
2pm flavored water and chocolate (kind of hoping that you'll be reading fast and miss this entry)
3pm fruit gummies, cottage cheese and applesauce
5pm 1 1/2 hard boiled eggs... (yippee, that makes 2 1/2 eggs in one day!)
7pm 3oz. of chicken (marinated and grilled)
today's totals:
calories: 1545
protein: 115 grams (oh my goodness, that's alot of protein for me..)
lots and lots of fluids and all vitamins.
I know you didn't have a very good day today, but you are having a very good influence on how my days go. Thank you Dawn!

I know so many people who say they can't eat this or that (usually beef or chicken) but I always tell them later on, give it a little try again..this goes for everything but SUGAR..you know me!
Early out I couldn't do hardboiled eggs either. I had a really bad experience with deviled eggs at about 4 weeks..and go SO SICK..so it was a year before I even tried them again. I tell you I had an egg over easy and was so afraid for over an hour..when that worked, I braved scrambed. When that worked, I tried a hard boiled egg (after much deliberation!)..and WAH LA...it's 5 years later and I can eat just about anything..except sugar..
Congrats! Have a great week ahead! See ya.

Yup..Sunday was a much better day. I did feel like Little Orphan Annie. Had myself a mini pitty party but it's over..
I don't know how people with two story houses do it! I know I couldn't. Although, if I had a two story house my glutes would be ROCK HARD! LOL.
Keep up the good work. See ya.
