Hi Dawn. My new computer came today, and I'm trying to get everything set up. The computer is great, I'm really loving it, but the work to get everything moved over and set up the way I'm used to is a trial.
briefly:
today:
calories: 1325
protein: 82 grams
all fluids and vitamins.

Hope to have everything settled and be a bit more explicit in my diary log, soon.

Look for you tomorrow.

My surgery was the 13th so I have another week down and am adding more food. I had Propel Zero water 2 bottles, chicken salad homemade 1/2 cup,1/4 cup  peas, protein shake, SF choclate pudding 1/4 cup , and 1/2 lowfat waffle with 1 tsp peanut butter. I use my protein for snacks.
I need change or additional items to try if anyone has suggestions.

Charlene! Your WLS was on the 13th or which surgery. I'm sorry, I wasn't paying attention or something.

I hope you don't take what we grads have to heart if you're only just two weeks out..The only thing that surprises me is the lowfat waffle in your list..that shouldn't be on your surgeon's plan at two weeks out but I don't know what surgery you had..

Hi,
I was told we could have a special dish peoridically. Maybe I'm wrong I had gastric bypass.

If you had RNY gastric bypass, you should be on pureed or soft foods and I'm not sure of your schedule..you probably better check with your surgeon or dietician..I wasn't allowed anything SOLID for about 4 weeks. meaning the most solid thing I had at 3 weeks was a soft scrambled egg, refried beans and melted cheese..at two weeks it was full liquids and at the end of two weeks I started on pureed things.

Whether we're allowed special things or not..you don't want to hurt your new pouch with something you shouldn't be eating.
