Accountability - Monday
The day started out pretty slow but I got rolling later on..I got up late and it SHOWS! I spent most of the night letting dogs in and out cuz of the full moon and they love to howl at it..I sure don't like it much. I did a bit of walking at work but not enough!
My eats for Monday:
6:00 am 1/4 serving protein waffle with 1/2 large green apple, 1/3 serving sf pancake syrup
6:30 am 12 oz coffee w/NSA Swiss Miss with double espresso and soy milk (all together this was 18 oz but the froth made it seem bigger!)
8:45 am 1 oz cheddar cheese, 1 pc turkey breast deli meat
9:15 am 24 oz drink mix with ice, SoBe Living Way, Strawberry Banana
9:50 am 24 oz drink mix with ice, Wyler's Pink Lemonade
11:00 am medium tangerine raw
12:00 pm 12 oz decaf with half n half
1:15 pm salad: 4 oz broiled pork chop, 1 cup lettuce, 1/2 cup canned peas, 1 green onion, 1/2 zucchini raw, 1.5 oz cheesy italian dressing
2:20 pm 24 oz drink mix with ice, Lipton Mandarin & Mango Tea
3:00 pm 24 oz drink mix with ice, GV Kiwi Strawberry sweetened with Stevia
3:25 pm 1 hard boiled egg, 1 medium tangerine
4:10 pm 24 oz drink mix with ice, GV Pomegranat Lemonade Energy (Caffeinated)
6:00 pm 4 oz baked chicken breast, 1/2 cup scallopped potatoes, 1/2 cup canned corn
Totals for the day:
Calories: 1555
Fat: 77.0
Carbs: 118.4
Protein: 109.8
Before dinner, my carbs were LOW but adding 46 grams of carbs in one meal sort of tipped the scales. Who knew that baked chicken had carbs in it..wow.
I just set my auto tune (on my directv box) to automatically change it to 279 tomorrow night at 7 pm so that I can watch Addicted to Food on the Oprah Winfrey Network..
I still did pretty good..at least I feel good about how I did food wise.. vitamin wise, I blew the whole day..but I can catch up at least alittle tonight.
How did you do?

Yes, RNY worked for me but it also requires a lot of work from me!

Oh..I want to try to catch addicted to food on OWN.
I am having problems getting on this site again. I think the real problem may just be my computer. But I ordered a new one yesterday and hope that will help.
I was so excited to report in today because I thought that my food total was 1200 calories and 98 grams of protein.. then I remember the coffee cake remains that I consumed... that would make my calorie count around 1600...good grief Charlie Brown.. maybe the new computer will help..
okay, I'm going to bed. see you all tomorrow, God willing.

Hmmm....you must be having the high protein/lo carb scalloped potatoes and corn??
I caught that tongue in cheek remark about the high carb chicken!! Made me smile!
I'm glad to see you actually eat! I have similar eating habits.....I don't know how some of these folks can exist on 800 calories a day when they are several years out...they are either starving to death or lying!!
Have a great day.

I'm so used to meat having NO carbs, I was surprised when fitday said that the chicken I had had 10.8 grams of carbs! The scalloped potatoes were 21 grams and the corn was 15..Still, the number on the meat sure surprised me..
I feel the same way, at less than 1500 calories, I tend to lose weight (albeit slowly) and I don't really want to. I struggle to get enough in to keep from losing weight and it's frustrating, I know, for people who are struggling to lose weight on the calories that I'm taking in..
Last year when I set my goal at 130, I figured it was to make room for muscle weight gain. I haven't built any muscle (obviously since walking 6 miles wore me out completely!) so instead of staying the same or increasing to 130, I lost weight and I'm down to 125..and my size 8 jeans are bagging on me..
Part of me is happy with that but part of me is afraid that I might be heading in the wrong direction..
