Gosh this day has been long..the whole week has been long but it's probably because I haven't worked a full week in some time! I got alittle walking in today but I'll be walking more next week cuz the weather is going to start getting warmer and less windy (I hope!)

 

Thursday:
 

5:00 am 12 oz coffee w/NSA Swiss Miss
 

5:30 am 1/4 serving protein waffles, 1 small apple, sf pancake syrup and butter buds
 

6:00 am 12 oz coffee w/NSA Swiss Miss
 

6:30 am double espresso latte, plain soy milk
 

7:00 am 24 oz herb tea, Stash Chocolate Hazelnut
 

8:15 am 1 oz cheddar cheese, 1 pc turkey breast deli meat
 

9:00 am 24 oz drink mix with ice, Hawaiian Punch Green Berry Rush
 

9:45 am 1 small tangerine
 

10:30 am 1/2 a tuna salad: 1 celery stalk, 1 italian squash, 1 green onion, 1 can tuna, 1 oz italian cheese dressing, several broccoli flowerettes
 

11:25 am 3 chicken wings from last Saturday
 

12:00 pm 12 oz coffee w/half n half..(not decaf this time!)
 

1:00 pm 24 oz drink mix with ice, Hawaiian Punch Lemon Berry Squeeze
 

1:45 pm the rest of that salad
 

2:30 pm 24 oz drink mix with ice, Crystal Light Energy Peach (caffeinated)
 

3:15 pm 1 hard boiled egg
 

4:00 pm 24 oz drink mix with ice, GV Kiwi Strawberry Stevia Sweetened.

6:15 pm 1.5 cups home made meat loaf (what a great hubby I have who cooks for me so I can eat as soon as I get home and shower..I'm blessed!) small baked potato, no skin, 1/2 T margarine, 4 broccoli flowerettes..tired..

So happy this week is nearly over!

Not a bad set of numbers. I'm happy with that. Lately I've been drinking a whole container of water during the night. For some reasons when I have hot flashes, the ice water seems to help nip it in the bud..

Dawn, it is so funny. I was thinking: "this has been a long day.." and then I opened your post. Sure did put a smile on my face!

Today:
10am flatbread, cheese, pinapple and protein drink
noon turkey and cheese 'wrap'
2pm lentil soup and coffee
3pm some more of those potatoes I'm trying to get rid of.
4pm coffee and SF pudding
6pm mac and cheese and peas
7pm coffee cake

today's totals:
calories: 1620 (that mac and cheese did a lot of damage)
protein: 88 grams

good fluids and all vitamins.

Hope Friday is a good day for everyone.

mac and cheese..I'm still trying to find a good substitute for pasta..I have been using cooked cabbage that I've shredded..I wonder if that will work in mac n cheese...and there is that oriental noodle that's made with protein...shirataki or something like that..I may give that a try..

Better than yesterday but still could of done better! Forgot my lunch at home, so that did not help!
0900-wheat english muffin, eggbeater, veggie sausage
1100-apple a T PB
1300-1/2 sandwich cup of soup, sf cookie
1700-10 tortilla chips, salsa, two chicken tacos (on mini corn toertilla) few bites of beans
2000-sf ice cream- MISTAKE I am nauseus. I do better with half a scoop of regular than a whole scoop of sf BUT not always. I never know when it will or will not bother me!
All my water and such. I had several short brisk walks in the rain during work. I helped move supplies from the main hospital to another site three blocks away. Instead of using my car I just made several trips with a cart.
I really liked the FINE acronym; I giggled every time I said fine when asked how I was. I think people could see I am not quite myself this week, but today was better and tomorrow will be fine;ha ha!

I have the same problem with that NSA Ice cream. Old habits die hard and I want MORE..more than I can safely handle. sucks..

You did good with forgettting your lunch. My solution to that is a protein shake I keep in my desk at work..doesn't help much but it will bring my protein back up when I've totally ruined my intake..
