Wow..Be sure and keep the water totals up with protein that high..high protein diets are hard on the kidneys.

I actually was able to keep track of my totals today. It was a quiet day since our daughter and her family went to visit her husband's brother and weren't here all day. I got alot of cleaning done..I'll also be coloring Easter Eggs with my granddaughter Thursday night while they're out..It's gonna be FUN..

2 cups of coffee with NSA Swiss Miss

double espresso with soy milk (1/2 cup) and splenda

another cup of coffee with NSA Swiss Miss

24 oz water without ice but cold -

1 cup left over cabbage lasagna

24 oz water with ice

24 oz water with ice

snack: 1/4 cup roasted salted soy nuts

Dinner: 1 serving orange herb fish (suppose to be 1/4 lb but probably less), 1/2 cup cooked broccoli and some instant brown rice..1/8 cup if I can figure it right.

No dessert. But I will probably have some more water..

Totals for the day:

Calories: 1284
Fat: 65.5
Carbs: 89.9

Good evening Ladies! I am so happy. I got myself caught up with grading today. Yippee! The semesters not over but I'm in shape for it, I hope. Today, I tried to remind myself to eat more regular. Usually, I just think that its not time for the next meal yet, but then I feel hungry and eat the wrong things. I was scared because it seemed like it was eating way too much, but when I did the numbers, I was okay..

Just tryin' to get this right, ya know??

today:
11am (late start to the day) cottage cheese and applesauce and pinapple and protein drink
noon 1/4 cup pudding and coffee with protein creamer
1pm chicken and brocoli and more coffee (protein)
4pm soft shell taco
6pm soft shell taco
7pm pistachios
9pm toast

today's Totals:
calories: 1505
protein: 98 grams

good fluids and all vitamins

okie dokie then. let's see what tomorrow brings.

Tuesday was fairly good for me. Once again tried to fight the snack monster. Ended up fairly high carb but something I needed.......prunes. I'll take it. At the very least when the snacking urge came over me I stopped and thought about what I was getting ready to do and chose according to what my body actually needed rather than mindlessly settling for processed junk.

Commute: Coffee w/ splenda and 1/2 & 1/2
B: 2 scrambled eggs w/ cheese
L: Chef Salad & Ranch Dressing
s: Celery w/ peanut butter
work break: Coffee w/ splenda and 1/2 & 1/2 (gingerbread coffee from Trader Joes - WOW)
s2: Dill Pickle & Turkey Pepperoni
D: Roast Beef w/ Steamed Broccoli & Cauliflower
lns: Cherry Coke Zero (during NCIS)
lns2: prunes

Lots and lots of water (Crystal Light White Grape & Ocean Spray Cran-Lemonade are both wonderful flavor packets) and decaf tea.

Blessed are the flexible for they shall not be bent out of shape.
