Summer clothes

I am happy to report that I unpacked them this weekend and they fit!!  Well, at least the 2 pairs of shorts I wore....so I'd say all is good.

I did a good purge too--I had a bunch of clothes that my dear friends had given me while I was losing--they aren't really my style but I was blessed to have them during that year of steady weight loss.  Well, I got rid of all the things that I don't love and lots of old shoes too!  I still have plenty (love to shop!) but now I only have things I really like and will wear.

I also found my "fat pants".  I saved one pair of pre-surgery pants to always remind me where I came from.  Every season when I swap clothes I come upon them.....so 2x a year I see them, and I always put them on.....such a shocking reminder of what I've accomplished and how important it is to me to work hard to stay healthy and fit.

Awesome! I'm still at the point where I don't want to pay full price for things because I may either lose or gain and then the stuff won't fit..I know, it's all mental but that's me.

I need to put my pre-surgery shorts on again..just to compare..I cut them off so they would be easier to store in my packed full of clothes closet..LOL..I'm getting to be quite the clothes horse.

Happy to hear the good news Kim...not that I doubted for a minute that you would NOT have an issue! LOL  But I understand the 'head' games...guess I need to follow my own advice...and go try the shorts on ;-)

I still buy 95% of my clothes from the thrift store...got so use to the prices I can't stand to pay full retail!  Even WalMart has gotten too expensive..now that is really being cheap LOL  Hubby is always encouranging me to 'look around' and I find it hard cus I'm so use to things never fitting.  But I'm learning...^_^
