I'm suppose to be on vacation today but because there is a presentation of a possible new accounting system, I went to work for that. That and nearly 90 purchase orders needed to be processed. It's alright though. My worst nightmare is on vacation so I don't have to deal with THAT irritation..It's far easier to keep up with my water when I'm at work and I really need to work on that!  

5:30 am 1/4 serving protein waffles, 1/2 small apple, 1/3 serving sf pancake syrup and butter budds  

6:45 am double espresso latte  

7:00 am 24 oz herb tea, Stash Chocolate Hazelnut  

8:15 am 1 oz mozzarella cheese stick, 1 pc turkey breast deli meat  

10:30 am 24 oz drink with ice, wyler's peach tea  

11:15 am 4 oz baked chicken breast, 1 oz four cheese italian dressing, 2 cups salad greens  

12:00 pm 12oz decaf w/ 2% creamer  

12:50 pm 1 hard boiled egg  

1:30 pm 24 oz drink mix with ice, Lipton Mandarin and Mango  

2:45 pm 24 oz drink mix with ice, Morning Spark Grapefruit Caffeinated  

3:15 pm 1 medium orange raw  

4:30 pm 24 oz drink mix with ice, GV Kiwi Strawberry  

6:30 pm Banquet meatballs with marinara sauce, whole wheat bagel thin and salad with thousand island dressing

Totals for the day:

Calories: 1397
Fat: 66.7
Carbs: 116.1
Protein: 95.8
I could have done alittle better but.. I can try again tomorrow..

0930-1/2 banana fage 0%, sprinkle dried strawberries and 2T kashi Go Lean Crunch
1100-apple
1230-Lean cuisine
1400-string cheese
1530-2 toll house choc chip cookies-over 1 hour
1800-burger patty om 100 cal english muffin steamed brocoli
2000-? should be nothing but might be a skinny cow or animal crackers
three mile run before work all my water and such and went up and down the stairs a dozen times; 3 flights each time.

LOL.. I think of it more like self preservation, actually..If I have to teach the school sites the program, I better know where the weak links are gonna land..I wasn't impressed with what they had to offer and I think I asked some pretty leading questions about how we could use the program (or not!)

Evening Dawn...hey, I don't blame you for going in...I handle all the accounting for my office...if they were talking new programing, I sure would want to be there, vacation or not LOL  I'm trying to control the carbs and fat and having a real tuff time :-(  Some pounds have crept (heck! RAN back up) and I just can't figure out the right combination to get them off.  It's not as easy as I thought to get protein up to 50% and keep the fat and carbs down. Oh well, I'm trying ^_^

7am  strawberry protein shake, 1/4c fresh strawberries in 8oz lite soy milk
8am-11am  3-8oz cups of decaf coffee
Noon  Jenni-O meatballs-3, 1tbs catsup
1pm-2:30pm 16oz Propel Free water
3pm 1/2c 2% cottage cheese
3:30pm-4:30pm 16oz Propel Free water, 8oz Sobe water
5pm  2.5oz peanuts
6pm  2oz lean ham, 3cauliflower florettes
9pm  Slim Fast chocolate shake

Totals:  1007cal  55.5g fat  62g carbs  118.1g protein
Will keep plugging away...gotta remember protein protein protein LOL  I did get in 45min on the treadmill...yeaaaa Me! ;-)

I know yall are sick of hearing this but DAMN THE CARB MONSTER. I become absolutely spineless when I give into the first craving of the day and just spiral out of control. Cookies. That's what I love. Chips Ahoy. Oreos. Ginger Snaps. Yep had some of all of those yesterday. Basically Breakfast lunch and late night snack.

B: Scrambled egg & cheese wrap
s: Chips Ahoy cookies (lost count at 6 probably more like a dozen during the morning)
L: Ramen Noodles (yep had to feed the carb monster)
s: Oreos (found them in the car on the drive home)
D: Pork Chop, steamed carrots & small scoop of au gratin potatoes.
s: gingersnaps (lost count because I ended up sitting on the couch mindlessly eating from the container while NCIS was on)
lns: Blue Berry activia smoothie

OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I knew I was bad yesterday but I was horrible. Just writing it down is embarrassing. But in an effort to get myself back on track I have to.
 
I had cleaned out the pantry at home but then David brought in the ginger snaps. I should have at least put them out of sight but no I left them on the counter so they ended up calling my name when I walked by. The Chips Ahoy were brought in by a coworker ( a huge box from Sams Club). I have got to get ahold of myself. I'm the only one responsible for what goes into my mouth.

I have a new appreciation for folks who are battling with addicition. I truly believe I am addicted to carbs. One of my best friends is sending me a cognitie behavior work book for weight management. I'll let you know when I get it. Hoping and praying that I get a grip on this soon.

Hi Iris....accepting responsibility and that only you are in control of what you eat..hey!  that's half the battle!!  It's when we turn a blind eye to our behaviour that we have no hope ;-)  Coincidentally, I too, woke up this morning facing the truth I am addicted to carbs.  I reminded myself that the only way I could quit smoking was 'cold turkey'..no weaning, no gradual smoking less...cold turkey...not one, beginning that very day. I've been smoke-free 6.5years ^_^  I have faced my demon...it only takes ONE chip, carmel, SF cookie, even peanuts! and I am doomed :-(  My co-workers have brought in M & M's...I have to convince myself that even ONE small m&m will cause me to spiral into oblivion (sp)..it is no different than having one cigerette...the ugly head of 'carb craving' will have been awakened :-(  
I know that together we can beat this 'demon'...posting even when we've lost the battle...we haven't lost the War! LOL  I treasure your honesty and forth-rightness in posting....ironically, it feels good to know I'm not alone ^_^
