Evening ladies. I am not at home tonight. I'll be staying with extended family for the next few days to help out. I tried to think of everything I needed to bring, but forgot a couple of things, like my food diary (I'm trying to convince myself that was a mistake...) Oh Dawn, today I got my first ever cell phone. I thought of you.. mine is a basic model, but good for me.. And a special thanks to Nancy for being so supportive on one of my 'bad' days.
Well, let's see.. what can I remember about today?
today:
morning: two meals (different times) of chicken and dumplings, a slice of banana bread, pinapple, coffee and a 'bit' of chocolate
around 4pm. A frantic stop at Taco Bell to get a soft shell taco.
evening: almond milk, hummus, small ground beef and some grilled chicken breast and small amount of veggies. later on a half pinapple and a protein bar.
all in all, not a bad day, maybe..
Today's totals: unknown
all fluids and vitamins
hope everyone has a good weekend.

Leila
Leila, welcome to the 21st century with the cell phone. Kids today don't remember a time when there weren't any cell phones! LOL..My husband's cell phone will log into the internet from anywhere in the world so we're gonna have so much fun when we go on vacation. AND it will do bar code scanning and tell me what the prices on things are at other places in town..I want one so bad but then we haven't gotten the first bill yet!
File my electronic income tax return yesterday but we'll see how long it takes to get the refund. We're getting less and less each year..next year or the year after that, it won't be worth a stamp to mail it to us...
You did good..soft shell taco is good in a pinch..they have the stats on those on-line too..Keep up the good work..See ya. Have a great weekend!

I've been looking over how you eat this far out. As well as I eat, I still eat too much of the wrong foods for "me." As soon as I cut out the carbs it seems the weight just melts off. When I add them back in...not so much. My delimna is...if I don't have some whole grains...I don't have daily bowel movements.
I've lost 18 lbs of the 60 of my goal. Now I'm stuck on a plateu losing a few inches here and there. It is so hard for me to get my protein in. You do great. It seems that your success comes from staying hydrated which we keep you satisfied to just eat only at your meal times.
I'm going to really apply some of what I see here in addition to ramping up my workout routine. I think this will be helpfull to me. I'll also focus on getting my water in and sipping on some herbal teas throughout the day.
Keep doing what you're doing...it is very inspiring.
